Offered by FlashMart
Price: £4.49

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good value and works a treat., 29 Sep 2010

This charger works flawlessly on my Samsung B5310 Corby pro and is arguably better than the official samsung part.

Pro's:

-Good cable length (Not stupidly short like many other cheapo's)
-The earth pin is metal and strong unlike the official chargers platic pin which is broken off by standing on it.
-LED lights up red when charging and green when fully charged.
-connecter plug grips the phone so as not to fall out to easily.

Con's:

None really.

This review is from: Samurai Zombie [DVD] (DVD)
This film for a start is obviously low budjet because the picture and sound are appalling even for a standard defintion DVD, The Cons:

-the plot is confusing througout and barely managed to keep my attation feeling like 3 hours after only one

-hardly horrific for an 18

-Should have been £1 but cost £9!

The pro's:

-the plot takes an interesting twist at the end

-That's it

so in conclusuion if you want to waste your money and bore yourself then buy this.

4.0 out of 5 stars Better than the CGI Beowulf film, 25 Feb 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Blu-Ray Basics:

Good HD picture and crisp sound.

The Film:

For a budget release I was very surprised, the story is actually very good and althogh the film only came out a few years ago, it is filmed like a classic film from decades before thanks to the lack of any CGI or other pricey modern effects, but however this makes the film more believable and lifelike.

OK so youre not going to be blown away by hollywood budget effects and action sequenses, but this film tells the Beowulf story so well and is far less corny than the most recent entirely CGI film Beowulf, which was average at best.

In conclusion, if you were dissapointed by the other Beofulf film and want to see the proper story then this is definatly worth a look.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Modern Epic to date., 25 Feb 2010
Gladiator is a masterpiece and here's why, The film sees Russel crowe who acts the main caracter Maximus a Roman general who, after acts of betrayal is arrested and sentanced to death, he free's himself from capture and after many emotional events becomes enslaved and and bought as an illeagal Gladiator. I don't want to give away any more of the film because it has to be watched to be experienced.

Pro's:

It is a masterpiece of cinema

the camera work is breathtaking

the efects were ahead of thier time and still look fantastic 11years later

The DVD version is actually superior to the Blu-ray version

Con's:

None that i can think of

There should be a sequel..........Gladiator 2 return of Maximus............Ha Ha, only joking but it would be funny.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Blu-Ray Picture Iv'e seen!, 25 Feb 2010
I work for currys and as such have the benefit of seeing a welth of blu-ray players and Hi-def TV's, In short my store has a 60" 1080p 600Hz Plasma on display using the finest HDMI cable's and over the last few months several blu-ray players have been rigged upto it from names such as Panasonic,Samsung, LG, Philips, Sharp and earlier model Sony players, all have been demo'd with the same set of films, all at 1080p and all through the same cable and TV.

But when I saw this was when I bought into blu-ray, the picture is noticably better than the other players but most importantly the animation througout action sequences was the best, with the least jitter and blurring.

Now the Good:

Pristine 1080p picture supporting the latest HDMI standards

Fantastic sound proformance and it supports HD audio which many cheaper players don't

It looks sleek and operates quietly and reliably

DVD upscaling is even better than through an HDMI Xbox360

The not so good:

It isn't as fast at booting up as some other players, but it outperforms them where it counts

Thats about it.

In conclusion, If you own an HDTV, It is wasted without blu-ray.

The Myth [Blu-ray] [2007]

4.0 out of 5 stars A good popcorn movie, 31 Jan 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
First the Blu-Ray basics:

HD picture is very good, not the best but still very good
Sound is very good

It's hard to properly explain this film, but hear goes

The main character jackie Chan keeps having visions of the life events of an ancient Chinese warrior and so drawn in by his visions decideds to persue them to the places where they took place over 2000 years ago. In short the film is a typical Jackie Chan style cheezy action flick with a twist of classic chinese epic war film thrown in, the plot altough silly is fun throughout and creates an entertaining pop corn flick good for those tiered nights when an in-depth serious film is just to tedious.

So overal be prepared for some great classic jackie Chan stunts and a fun and easy goig yet action packed plot.

3.0 out of 5 stars Zen Charger with night light, 30 Jan 2010

The charger works fine and is really nice and compact, which is useful, but the led to tell you it's on is really bright and when charging my Zen at night with the light off, I have to put something on top of it so the light does'nt keep me awake.

4.0 out of 5 stars The cable works but isn't perfect, 30 Jan 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The quality of this cable is fine for the price but the only problem is the ends of the cable are a bit fat and so don't fit very well next to the VGA input on my TV, I got around the problem by using a short extention cable with a thinner plug.

The plus side is that the sound is perfectly acceptable and only suffers quiet hiss if turned up to very high volumes ( almost unnavoidable for analouge cable's).

Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought these to link my TV to my amp for stereo stuff such as my old gamecube and freeview, the sound is very good and I cannot notice any interfierance in the sound, despite the fact that they are right next to mains cable's.

For the price these cable's a brilliant
