5.0 out of 5 stars Good Django collection, 27 Dec. 2010
This review is from: Djangology (Audio CD)
This is a good Django collection but is of no better sound quality than the other Django CD I have on the HMV Jazz label.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good remastering, 27 Dec. 2010
The remastering is good. It's a pity there isn't more from the first 4 albums instead of the later stuff and also a pity that the individual albums aren't available remastered.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good keyboard, 27 Dec. 2010
Excellent keyboard. Key response is excellent and none of the missed key presses or extra repeats that plagued my previous wireless microsoft keyboard. The rechargable battery in the keyboard lasts about a week (without using the off switch to conserve the battery's life). Reports on other keyboards mentioned the letters wearing off the keys, the backlight is hopefully guard against this and it also makes it nice when I forget to turn the light on in low light conditions.

4.0 out of 5 stars Worth being wanted for over 10 years, 22 Aug. 2010
Had this on LP. Went the way of the west when I decided to go CD only. So long ago I had nearly forgotten what this was like. It's been there on my wanted list for over 10 years unavailable of CD. This album is so funky. The highlight is Papa's got a brand new pigbag but the rest of the album isn't far behind. If anything I now thing this is better than I thought it was when I had the LP.

5.0 out of 5 stars Takes off is right, 23 Mar. 2010
The absence of Grace Slick and the presence of cover versions do not distract from the excellence of this disc. It's only fault is its slightly tinny sound typical of RCA recordings of the mid 60s. For a new comer to Airplane Crown Of Creation is a better place to start, then Sunfighter [Us Import] [ORIGINAL RECORDING REMASTERED] [IMPORT] and Baron Von Tollbooth & the Chrome Nun. By then you'll be hooked.

3.0 out of 5 stars Just a memory, 16 July 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Only worth looking at to remind yourself of what you saw years ago. Unlikely to appeal to a new audience.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than any other in-ear phones I've tried, Cheap too!, 19 April 2009
I was worried about being able to get hold of a new pair of in-ear phones as good as the sennheiser MX1s that I had bought in Harrods over 10 years ago and had just died on me. These are so good they leave me wondering why I thought the MX1s were any good at all and they were definitely better than any other in-phones I've tried.
