3.0 out of 5 stars it's ok but..., 25 Oct 2005
i like this album, but to me it's "background music", you know, the sort of thing they have playing quietly in shops or you have playing at a dinner party or whatever.
i couldn't personally pick out a stand out track, as they all sound similar and seem to blend into one, although the last track "Wait" is quite good, with an Athlete sort of vibe.
i don't dislike DCFC at all, infact i love Plans, but this album is generally too slow for me, and doesn't really hold my interest.

5.0 out of 5 stars back with a bang!, 8 Feb 2005
This review is from: American Idiot (Audio CD)
i had never really heard any of green days music before i bought my friend this cd for her birthday - and i have now realised how much i was missing out on.
this album will appeal to a wide range of people of all ages who like many different genres of music, due to the catchy songs and great tunes. surely one of the best albums of 2004.
i look forward to hearing green days future releases and definetly plan to buy some of their previous albums.
best tracks include the singles "american idiot", "boulevard of broken dreams" and "holiday" but also the 2 9 minute tracks standout.
5 stars!

5.0 out of 5 stars what girl cannot identify with becky?, 3 July 2004
i loved this book and easily read it within a couple of days, as it was so gripping!
most girls can understand what becky goes through in the book and even though you can tell right from the beginning that she will get together with luke it still makes a good story.
this is a great chick-lit book and can be enjoyed by shopaholics of all ages...excellent!

5.0 out of 5 stars excellent light reading!, 4 Jun 2004
This review is from: The Guy Next Door (Paperback)
this is another excellent book by meg cabot, and fans of her other books (princess diaries, boy meets girl, all american girl) will enjoy this, even though it is classed as an adult book.
it tells the story of mel fuller, who finds her elderly neighbor face down on the floor of her flat. her neighbors only relative (her great nephew) cannot be bothered to come and look after her, so he asks his friend from college, (who owes him from saving his ass on holiday in vegas) to pose as him so he does not have to go.
mel does not expect to fall in love with "max" but when she does, she realises he is not who she thought he was.
this book is very, very good, and i would reccommend it to adults and teenagers alike.
