An air of magic, 7 Mar. 2003
A marvellous read. There is an air of magic throughout, and you can almost taste the chocolate creations. The character building is so well crafted that you care what happens to them. There are tantalising gaps in information so that you engage your imagination. An uncomplicated tale beautifully told which takes you to the heart of french village life, suggests a struggle between good and evil, and draws up the characters on either side ,the end result is intriguing and uplifting.
