5.0 out of 5 stars If you get it, 26 Oct. 2008
This review is from: For Emma Forever Ago (Audio CD)
I feel this is one of them albums which people may not get, or just not give enough time too. Im glad that i gave this album time , i have listened to it more than any other from start to finish. Every song has its beauty but for me the crescendo towards the end of "The Wolves (act 1 and 2) is one of the most emotional peices of music i have heard. To put it simply , just buy it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Guitar wizard, 22 Jan. 2007
This review is from: The Red Guitar (Audio CD)
First of all, if you get the chance to see this chap live do it, he will completely change how u imagine a guitar can be played. The overidin theme with this album is a folky with irish influence but there is so much more if you listen. Spanish classical , blues and jazz styles all play a part in an album which really should be enjoyed by anyone , not just the guitar player. The whole album is just one man playing one guitar, no singing or overdubs, just one instrument. dont let that put you off as he plays it like there were three. buy it and enjoy one of the best guitarists in the world

5.0 out of 5 stars Shadows fall , All That Remains, 4 Jan. 2005
I noticed there wasn't a review and thought such a good album deserves one. This album is intense, pounding double bass pedal , Fantastic harmonized dual guitars ala shadows fall and a great variation of vocals from atreyu screaming and clean all the way through the death end of the spectrum. If your looking for bands like shadowsfall and all that remains like i am then you have found it. Enjoy

5.0 out of 5 stars Killswitch and Shadows Fan?, 14 Sept. 2004
This review is from: The Oncoming Storm (Audio CD)
Well i downloaded the last album a few months back and could see they had potential, now with adam D from killswitch producing them they have reached it. This album is Phenominal. If you like Shadows fall and killswitch i dont think its possible you wont like this album. The drumming , Guitar playing and singing is all brutal and rapid. you may at first think that his voice is slightly one dimensional in the chimira sort of a way but the more you listen the more this album reveals. In my opinion a classic but hey, thats only mine. Hope you in enjoy it as much as i do.

1.0 out of 5 stars Shocking, 27 Feb. 2004
This review is from: Spirals (Audio CD)
This pure and simple is an embarresment. Fair enough the drummer is rapid and yes howard jones does have a good voice but the band seem unable to actually create music. It doesn't take any degree of skill To play one dull chord over and over again. Hope this disgrace doesn't influence KSE's latest offering. Dont buy unless your tone deaf.
