It's got all the elements of a classic. A great rock 'n' roll record that combines all the best bits of the last 50 years of guitar based music chews em up and spits them out in a brew of soulful rock, roll, country and blues. The songs are great, awesome playing and the voices of Jackie Greene & Joan Osbourne blend so well together. Buy it.

Happened to chance upon this marvellous collection of songs played and sung beautifully. Ignore the 1 and 2 star reviews (they probably own one album and that's Queens greatest hits and therefore know screw all about music). Also ignore the fact that Billie Joe fronts a band that appeals to 15 year old boys and admire his choice of songs and singing partner.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Greatest Rock 'N' Roll Band In The World, 30 Nov. 2003
I saw The Stones at both the Twickenham and Paris Olympia shows featured on this 4 DVD set and was knocked out. The Paris Olympia show clearly puts them ahead of the likes of U2 and Bon Jovi et al as the band that everyone will have on their lips (no pun intended) as the greatest band of all time.....ever....period.
The Olympia show captures the atmosphere of actually being there...the crowd had their hands in the air the whole way through the opener Start Me Up and the floor moved up and down throughout the gig.
As a diehard fan, or the casual onlooker you get an insight into Stones world, a glamourous but nonetheless hard working environment where the band actually show they care and enjoy putting on a good show for their fans...Witness their nerves on disc one just before they go on stage for a pre tour warm up show in Toronto. At their age and at their stage in their career just turning up to play would be enough for the die hard fan but the Stones give everything, every last little drop of blood on stage and it shows.
Buy this DVD set. You will not regret it. When you receive it go open a bottle of expensive wine, pour yourself a good sized glass, settle down, savour and enjoy the Greatest Rock N Roll Band In The World.....Ladies & Gentlemen....The Rolling Stones.
