2.0 out of 5 stars This is not as espresso drink!, 27 Nov. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Despite the image used to sell this product, this is not an espresso drink. In fact it makes 215ml sized drinks! This is clear from the packaging that you receive but not from the image on Amazon's website. So if you are looking for a long coffee this may be what you want. If you want an espresso, steer clear.

5.0 out of 5 stars More than a cook book, 10 Nov. 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
My first Heston Blumenthal. Didn't really know much about him before I saw some of the reviews here. Very happy with the purchase. It's more than a cookbook, it's an education in food. Some of the recipes are big and serious but there are plenty of very simple ones there too. One of my favourite aspect is that he does common recipes very well (something as simple as mayo and salad dressing) Highly recommended

Every Second Counts
Every Second Counts

1.0 out of 5 stars very poor, 30 Dec. 2008
This review is from: Every Second Counts (Paperback)
I read Armstrong's first book and while not liking the guy I enjoyed the book and bought Every Second Counts on the back of it. Bad move. It's a poorly written book, which reads like a self help book but with half baked anecdotes and part truths. Haven read plenty other cycling books makes it even harder to swallow the stories he presents.
