Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Painless installation of hard-drives: two WD Red 3TB NAS drives installed under a minute. Slick software with intuitive user interface. There's a serious risk this will replace my paid subscription to Dropbox. Well done, Synology. It's so much more than network-attached storage: the extensibility of the server software is actually quite amazing.

The only drawback is the tireless proliferation of apps on iOS. One App To Rule Them All, please!

This is made from a nice piece of goatskin, but unfortunately it is extremely poorly made. It is shoddily stitched and thick with glue. My wife decided to send it back.

There's a damning moment in this disappointing film when Iain Sinclair points out how crass it would be to recreate the journey of _The Rings of Saturn_. Clearly, this remark was made late in the production process, because it retrospectively demolishes Grant's whole project. As thevulturespeaks says, the last ten minutes are particularly poor: Jeremy Millar's naff 'Fireworks for Sebald' is tastelessly intercut with an image of Sebald, implying that Millar's final image manifests the ghostly likeness of Sebald. It's a knee-weakeningly risible moment, which must have horrified some of the participants. Read MacFarlane, Sinclair, Dean and even Moody on Sebald, and give this well-meaning but intellectually inadequate film a wide berth.

So I bought these speakers on the strength of the previous review. While twelve quid doesn't break the bank, the speakers suffer a single, infuriating flaw: interference. The enclosures are neat and well-made and sound quality is excellent at this price and size. But that hissing interference is annoying to say the least and likely a consequence of using USB to power them. I doubt these will stay long on my desk.
