5.0 out of 5 stars good value and good product, 9 Oct 2012

Mine arrived very quickly, it only took a few days......instantly it looks very good I chose red, so I can see the phone at the bottom of the bag. Smart and a nice flip out design and a lot cheaper than anything I bought when my phone was new. I don't use the plastic screen protector as the sticky labels were impossible to peel off. But the polisher was nice. It has smartened up my older phone well, without feeling pressured into buying a new upgrade.

4.0 out of 5 stars A close runner up to Ruth Wilson, 22 Mar 2012
This review is from: Jane Eyre [DVD] [2011] (DVD)
I saw this film in the cinema, it was beautifully shot, conceived and crafted and really I thought Rochester was excellent, the star really, he had the guts of the role in his grasp. I thought Jane Eyre was super but not quite as believable to make the womanly jump from innocent tutor to passionate romantic that Ruth Wilson conveyed previously. Mia was very good, but a close second. Nevertheless I enjoyed this version as the big screen does make the production very memorable for all the reasons others have said below.

4.0 out of 5 stars a good machine but be careful, 5 Oct 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
A super machine, and good value. But mine refused to scan after a sliding off a surface a mere 5 inches to a carpeted floor. After that, it now wont' scan and I can't return it under any warranty I think. These scanners are not as robust as they used to be.

5.0 out of 5 stars superb book, 12 Aug 2010
A marvellous book, extremely well told and very accessible to all. McKay presents Bletchley as a very grounded and human effort and he brings all the contributors first hand memories to life. A sparkling and engaging read. The best so far on Bletchley.

1.0 out of 5 stars complete nightmare printing and software for scanning, 10 Jun 2010
I was recommended this printer by a computer company. It's been my worst yet. The scanning software changes the dpi settings so you end up with a completely different file type and very large. On downloading the latest driver update, now my printer won't print labels from Royal Mail straightaway. It mucks about for one printing and just freezes the printing process to idle, and only when I shut it down and turn it on again does it print a pdf properly. Never again....only Canon or something else...this is awful.

5.0 out of 5 stars super external drive, 31 Mar 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I've had this now for about a year and it's been very good indeed, perfect. No flaws, it always shows up on the desktop, if it doesn't then it's mac playing up. It survives crashes and freezes and all the data is still happily there the next time you plug in. It is all I need so far and a very good buy.

5.0 out of 5 stars a secret hero, 31 Mar 2010
Harry Peuleve lived, as many of SOE, a secret war, a secret life with elements of sadness and massive courage. Nigel Perrin brings to light the remarkable life of this unsung beacon of SOE. This fascinating biography joins the growing number of life studies of underground world of the secret agent in the second world war. There was no glory or glamour. It was survival at all costs. For Peuleve, it was a close run thing and ultimately although a survivor, he died after the war rather young. His DSO MC was thoroughly earned. We need more biographies like this, it joins the amazing lives of Odette Churchill, Violette Szabo, Noor Inayat Kahn and Christine Glanville.

5.0 out of 5 stars a beautiful and practical book, 30 Mar 2010
This book is a lovely looking and yet thoroughly practical guide to all growers, cookers and fans of fruit. A sumptuous exploration reintroducing the forgotten quince, reviving pears, plums and many other edible delights. The generous size of this bible of fruit will have you reading in all weathers and inspire you to get your jam jars out, or squeeze an apple tree into your garden or patio.
