Addictive original read !, 26 April 2013
I know this review is up before the books release date but I recieved it early and as I always do when I get a new book, I read the first couple of pages to get a feel for it and decide how soon I am going to read it.(I have a huge TBR pile :-/) I got in to the story straight away, in the first couple of lines in fact and this almost never happens, it can take a good 50 pages for me to properly get in to the story and get a feel for what the characters are like, this happened really quickly with this book though, I couldn't put it down and I didn't until I had finished. Basically the story is told through Sloane, she lives in a world where suicide and depression are considered a virus and everyone is closely monitored for any signs of it. If caught, people are taken away and put in 'The program', a process which takes away a persons memories, a process which Sloane will do anything to avoid. Sloane is helped by her boyfriend James who promises he will protect her but questions are raised as to wether love grows from our memories and if they are gone, can the love survive or grow again. The book is very well written and although it is around 400 pages, it was really quick to read. I know the dystopian genre is so full right now but I have read some great ones and some terrible ones and this really is one of the best I have read since The hunger games. The characters are instantly relatable and Sloane is a likeable protaganist, the relationship between her and James kept me engaged and the flow of the story made it impossible to put down. I would really like to see a sequal written and the ending leaves it open to that but is not a cliff hanger that makes it necessary. I haven't read any other books by Suzanne Young and to be honest, her other titles don't look like my type of thing but this is great and I will definately be recommending it to all my reader friends.

Much better than I expected, 17 April 2013
I never saw this advertised and as far as I know it wasn't in cinemas, at least it wasn't in the UK so I assumed this would just be a cheap and cheerful film to watch with the kids, it actually turned out to be pretty good though. The animation is surprisingly good, the story is engaging and the characters are likeable. Kids between 5 and 10 will definately enjoy it and I'm pretty sure most parents will too .

Lived up to the hype for me., 13 April 2013
I always put off watching films with alot of hype around them as they often fall short and leave me disappointed, this film was definitely not one of them. The story does take a while to get going but I slowly came to love the characters and understand them and by the end, I wanted to watch it all over again. Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper are fabulous in this and have such great chemistry but one person who isn't mentioned much is Robert De Niro, I didn't even know he was in it but he plays the father of Bradley's character and he is amazing to watch. This film isn't your usual sugar coated Hollywood fare, it's an emotional journey which highlights mental health problems and leaves you thinking about it afterwards, a perfectly formed masterpiece in my opinion.

Good and not so good., 13 April 2013
I really like watching Eddie Murphy and have most of his films, I thought this looked like a fun one to watch with the kids and it was only £3 so I picked it up. After watching it, I felt overall I had enjoyed it but it's definately one of my least favourite films of his, it was a bit hit and miss, with some parts being great and others leaving me wanting to switch it off. All that said, Eddie was still funny to watch and my kids liked it, won't be watching it again though.

Why have I never heard of this ?, 13 April 2013
I had never heard of the tree investigators but I stumbled across this film and it's sequal 'The secret of terror castle' when looking for another film for my son, it sounded like something he would enjoy but I thought it must be a very low budget film given that I had never seen it before, it was cheap though so I thought it was worth trying. I have to say, after watching both the films, I couldn't have been more wrong, it's a well made film with a great cast and was shot in some fabulous locations, why it's gone un-noticed I don't know but if your looking for something to watch with kids aged 7 and upwards, this is one you should all enjoy.

A hidden gem !, 13 April 2013
I accidently stumbled across this film when looking for something for my 9 year old son, I thought it might be a cheaply made kids film as I hadn't ever even heard of it but it was so cheap I picked it up, along with the other one in this series, 'The secret of skeleton Island'. As soon as my son saw it, he wanted to watch it as he loves anything spooky and I have to say, I couldn't have been more wrong about this, it's a well made film with a great cast and most importantly, we all really enjoyed it.

Hilarious, 19 Dec 2012
I have to say, I wasn't expecting to like this much, there are so many animated movies coming out constantly and few are really great, most are just about watchable for the parents, a great family movie should entertain the kids and the adults who have to sit through it, this film hit the mark perfectly for me, there was plenty of humour just for the grown ups and a great story that kept us all glued to the screen right to the end. The animation is fantastic and looked great in 3D, I would love to see a sequal as the characters were interesting and it's something different to what we have seen before. Most importantly of cousrse, my boys aged 8 and 10 absolutely loved it and wanted to go back and see it again, I pre-ordered the Blu-ray as soon as it was available and I'm looking forward to seeing it again .

Epic !, 1 Dec 2012
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
I bought this for my 8 year old son who loves Mickey mouse and he absolutely loves it, he said it's even better than the first which we have on the Wii. Having had a go myself, I have to agree, it's totally addictive and with fantastic graphics and loads of fun levels, I'm sure it's going to provide many hours of fun .

A great end to the trilogy, 1 Dec 2012
I absolutely love the Madagascar films and was so excited to see this third installment, I was not disappointed. The storyline is great, there are lots of laugh out loud moments, all our favourite characters are back and visually it is stunning, particularly in 3D. This film actually made me quite emotional as we come full circle since the first one, for this reason though, I really hope this really is the last, as I said, I really love them and I am a little sad there may be no more but I hope they don't milk the series for everything it's worth, this film is the perfect ending we need.

A must for Harry Potter fans, 17 Nov 2012
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
I am an absolute Harry Potter freak so I had to have this and I was not disappointed. The move camera is always a little awkward to set up in my small living room but once that was sorted the game was very easy to follow and was truly amazing. We haven't got too far yet so may update this but for the price, I think it's a must have as there are supposed to be more Wonderbook games on there way soon.
