5.0 out of 5 stars The Song of A Lost Generation, 12 April 2013

This must be the most popular song in the UK at the moment, and rightly so. More hard-hitting than the Sex Pistols, more melodic than Napalm Death, this will be the sountrack to the long-awaited revolution.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cilla Black, 5 Nov. 2012
This review is from: Mixies Men (Audio CD)
Cilla Black is almost as disgusting as it SHOULD be. I was sitting next to Eddie Cockroach in a portacabin at Withens Lane when he wrote that song. Disgusting! Just like those disgraceful pink T-shirts! I bought one.

Yes, I'm that wanker with the big forehead at Stairways on the video! [...]

5.0 out of 5 stars Gritty, hilarious, sinister sit-com, 8 July 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I laughed all the way through this episode.

If you've ever lived in suburban Britain or met any wannabe occultists, you'll recognise a lot of the humour that goes into Hettford. I've been following the series since the start, and I think that's the best way to do it. It's like a TV series: the story develops week by week, and you get to know the characters over time. Ignore the other review, you have to read each episode.

Try it! You'll love the characters and you'll be gripped by the story.

4.0 out of 5 stars PEACEABLE KINGDOM BY SHAUNA KLEIN, 1 May 2012
This review is from: Peaceable Kingdom (Kindle Edition)
Krista has been sacked from her job as a vet's assistant for refusing to put down a client's pet because "the bitch had grown tired" of it.

She's taken the "pug" home, and is caring for it as best she can. A ham-fisted operation, spaying her new pet, leads to complications. In the end, she faces a stark choice.

I had to re-read the ending of this story a couple of times before I got it. D'oh!
