don't expect any songs that you'll be able to whistle, just play it with the headphones on, and your eyes shut.

great recording, and as there was over 20 million people wanting tickets for the gig, the only way I'll ever see them again. I was lucky enough to see them in the early seventies, worth buying it for 'In my Time'

5.0 out of 5 stars rock solid turning..., 2 April 2011
these 4" faceplates are perfect for most of the bowls and vessels that I'm able to turn with the size of lathe I have, green wood with quality wood screws stays where it should be all through roughing out and hollowing, and allow you to get the log as close as possible to the headstock, quick delivery as always from Amazon...

5.0 out of 5 stars it's the sound I've been hoping for..., 23 Feb 2011
it's a two edged sword really, these Aquarian Jack de Johnette drum heads! first of all, they play and sound like no other head I've ever used, forget Remo and forget Evans who both make nice heads, but are nowhere near as full and as rich a tone as these; secondly, why is it that they are so very hard to find a stockist of them in Britain? Loads of stockists of Aquarian, but never Jack de Johnette listed...

So again I thank Amazon for providing the link for me to get my hands and sticks onto these little babies, they record like no other head, and even if you have never heard of Jack de Johnette (shame on you) I recommend you give them a try if your after a rich warm tone with a matt surface which gives many different sounds out of each drum, it's like the drums breath once these heads are on and tuned in...

5.0 out of 5 stars the Woodcarving Bible, Volume 2..., 23 Nov 2010
If you are thinking about getting into wood carving and have any questions about the type of chisels you'll need, how to look after them and keep them real sharp, the auxiliary equipment which will be useful in helping you start to create the work you imagine, or like me have already started carving and have found it really difficult to maintain and retain a perfect edge which is razor sharp, then WOODCARVING Tools, Materials & Equipment Volumes 1 & 2 are what you need, at about half the price of a decent Water Stone for both books they will save you money, time and loads of trial & error in the long run, and if you are planning to buy a set of Carving Chisels as a present this xmas, I would advise you to buy the books first and them make a more informed choice of tools after reading them, they may be just produced as paperbacks, but they will become a long term reference books until all the information is absorbed... (hold that edge), Phil
