The Synchronicity War Part 3
The Synchronicity War Part 3
Price: £2.12

3.0 out of 5 stars bit samey and lacking depth, 7 April 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Just felt it was a little too similar tp the otjers. Characyers are not developing. Now a trilogy in 4 parts. Seems to be dragging out

The Shadow Legions: Crimson Worlds VII
Price: £2.99

4.0 out of 5 stars Quite similar to other books in the series, 19 Mar 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
If you enjoyed the other books in the series you should enjoy this one. However it is getting a little "samey" to some of the other books.

3.0 out of 5 stars ok. but maybe a little too silly for me, 27 Feb 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The revival machine basically ruins it for me. I am ok with overall plot but the fact you can die hundreds of times and still come back is abit much

4.0 out of 5 stars enjoyable space warfare without too much thinking, 27 Feb 2014

This review is from: Ark Royal (Kindle Edition)
Enjoyed reading this. Perhaps a little predictable but not too much hence dropping 1 *. End of review. Adding more words to meet amazons dumb min words requirement. Why write more words.

2.0 out of 5 stars Fast paced but a little too convenient., 16 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Fast paced over all in how quickly things move on. But lacks any real depth to the story. I actually quite licked the storyline, but felt that things were just too easy/convenient. Easy thing to do with sci fi when you can make up entire worlds and technologies.

Commander (Far From Home Book 2)
Commander (Far From Home Book 2)
Price: £0.77

2.0 out of 5 stars Not much happening in this book., 16 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
HHavig read the first novella this one was a disappointment. Slow paced and nothing happens until the last two pages or so. Did not feel that this set the story background up that much either. The details that are in it might turn out to be important in subsequent novellas but after its predecessor I was not impressed.

The Mammoth Book of SF Wars (Mammoth Books)
The Mammoth Book of SF Wars (Mammoth Books)
Price: £5.49

3.0 out of 5 stars couple of good stories but found most a bit disappointing., 16 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I was hoping to find lots of new sci fi authors to follow. Only found about 2. Some of the stories are really pushing the definition of war stories.
It is a collection so you do hage to expect some stories you wont like, however almost all of them were a bit disappointing.
Additionally could do with some sort of index for the stories in the kindle version although I think there is an online one.

Traders' Scourge - part 1 - Alien Flight (Carinae sector)
Traders' Scourge - part 1 - Alien Flight (Carinae sector)
Price: £1.88

3.0 out of 5 stars if grammer and spelling were better wo7ld get 4*, 16 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I enjoyed this and the subsequent novellas in the set. However I often found that the spelling and grammar were extremely distracting sometimes requiring you to think about what word or conjugation it should have been.
Storyline is better than 3 * but all the humans are a bit too nice and considerate.

Combined Edition (The Awakened: Books One Through Three)

4.0 out of 5 stars enjoyable read, 30 Jan 2013

The Landfall Campaign (The Nameless War Trilogy Book 2)
The Landfall Campaign (The Nameless War Trilogy Book 2)
Price: £3.00

4.0 out of 5 stars fast paced, 13 Dec 2012
Really enjoyed this book looking forward to the last in the trilogy. Some grammatical and spelling issues, but see those in almost all books I read and does not detract from the book. Irritated by use of "over and out". Fast paced and full of action
