5.0 out of 5 stars Practical, useful and good quality, 21 Nov 2014
The Miu Color Packable Backpack is a really useful product which I really like. I have the green version, and it is a lovely bright green - perfect when I am on my bike or walking on the country lanes as it is eye catching and makes me much more easily seen.

When the bag is folded, it is of small dimensions and has a carry handle. It is convenient to carry around in the folded state in a handbag or a coat pocket.

To turn it into backpack form, all that needs to be done is to undo the zip, and it opens out into the form of a backpack. The backpack itself has a main section for storage and also a good sized front pocket.

The shoulder straps can be adjusted, and they are comfortable to use. Conveniently there are also mesh pockets on the outside of the backpack to store drinks bottles or anything else of a comparable size that you may need quick access to.

The backpack is fairly shower proof. It certainly isn't waterproof, but it will withstand the odd shower here and there.]

I find this bag really useful when I go out to the local shop or post office on my bike. it is a 7 mile round trip and this bag is ideal. It fits in my cycling jersey pocket on the way there, I can do my shopping, pop it in the bag, and carry it home on my back - perfect!

Overall, this is a high quality and really practical / useful -product which I will continue to be using a lot.

I was sent this item to test and to honestly review.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pain free teeth, 21 Nov 2014
I very much like the toothpastes made by Beverley Hills - they have always seemed consistently good with excellent whitening effects. I have recently been using their black toothpaste, which is now my toothpaste of choice.

This particular product is designed for sensitive teeth but also has whitening qualities. It is a white colour with very slight gritty bits in it - which I assume assist with the whitening process.

With regard to dealing with sensitivity, it seems to do a good job. I have a few sensitive teeth and they have not been a problem for me whilst using this product.

In relation to cleaning, it does do a good job compared with other sensitive toothpastes. I have found that quite often you have to choose toothpaste that either deals with sensitive teeth OR has whitening properties. This seems to have successfully combined both properties pretty well.

Having said this, I do think that the black toothpaste produced by Beverley Hills gives even better whitening properties - it is really good stuff. So if you are not bothered by sensitive teeth it might be worth taking a look at this. However, if you really do need toothpaste that helps with sensitive teeth and are hoping for some whitening effect, this is a really good toothpaste.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love it!, 3 Nov 2014
This is a beautiful collection. There isn't a single track that I don't like on here. It is suitable any time - but the first disc is particularly perfect over the festive season as the it is seasonal based, including tracks such as Joy to the World, Angels Carol, Nativity Carol, Hark the Herald Angels etc.

The second CD has well known classic Rutter favourites which aren't festive based, including the lovely Gaelic Blessing, Look at the World and The Lord Bless You and Keep You.

The recordings are all clear and make for great listening.

I absolutely love this new album and will be listening to it a lot.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for hours of imaginative play!, 3 Nov 2014
The Sylvanian Families Seaside Restaurant is a lovely set for any child with a good imagination! It comes with lots of bits and pieces - my little girl has really enjoyed using it. It's important to note that there are quite a few rather small pieces in the set, and they wouldn't be good to be left around for young siblings to put in their mouths - we have had to move it for this reason and allow play with the set only when little sister isn't about!....

In the box, you get:
1 restaurant

1 table with grill

5.0 out of 5 stars Inspirational, 26 Oct 2014
This review is from: Spice At Home (Hardcover)
I'm learning to get more adventurous with spices in my cooking at the moment, and this book is just brilliant as a learning tool with lots of great ideas and recipes. It is all made very accessible and easy for the normal home cook - there isn't anything too demanding nor are there ingredients that will be impossible to source.

What I really like is that this doesn't feel like a typical Indian cook book - it seems to fuse together the more traditional and expected recipes with a modern approach and one that also sometimes feels like spiced up British food! It's different. It's not just another cookbook. It's unique.

3.0 out of 5 stars Frustrating, 25 Oct 2014
The Amazon Fire Game controller is a good concept with some rather worrying flaws.

The idea is great - that it opens up the number of games that can be played, and gives the opportunity to be able to get lots of low price games to play through the fire TV. It is wireless and not too heavy in the hand. You can also use it as a remote control for media like music and videos. It looks and feels good out of the box.

On the negative side, it is really hard to control! My partner was expecting great things from it in this area and has been left disappointed. Both the right and left analogue sticks are not easy - they aren't accurate and are just difficult to use. The d pad is stiff. It is a very frustrating user experience!

Overall, it promised great things but the physical functions need tweaking a bit.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good for coordination!, 25 Oct 2014
My little girl is absolutely mad about Peppa pig and loves anything to do with Peppa and muddy puddles. This bouncer / hopper is a perfect size for her at three years old. It seems to be relatively durable and unlikely to break, and she has used it both inside and outside. It is also quick and easy to inflate.

My daughter, probably like many three year old, lacks coordination on occasion. This has really seemed to help her with that, very quickly.

Really nice Peppa themed toy.
