5.0 out of 5 stars THE BEST tarot deck I've ever had!, 22 Jan. 2011
This deck is absolutely amazing! The imagery is just beautiful and it really speaks to me. The name of the deck is totally justified: it has a bittersweet note in every card. The best thing about this deck is that it is easily interpreted just by looking at the cards; something that most people new to tarot are unable to do. Well this deck carries such a power in the imagery that images just start popping in your head and you just know what the card means in your reading. It also comes with a small booklet providing help for the interpetation of the cards, but it's not the standard meanings everyone is used to,it's more in the form of small phrases that make you think even deeper. I trully believe that this is one of the best decks to have, either your goal is to read accurately or for your tarot collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nothing less than perfect!, 4 Sept. 2010
I bought this CD together with the DVD of the film out of curiosity and I have to say that I totally and absolutely adored it! This is one of the best CDs I've ever bought, combining music of different places and different times in a marvellous way. Most CDs,especially movie soundtracks, have one or two pieces that everyone falls in love with and the rest is flat and boring,so you basically end up buying the CD and skipping most songs. This is not the case with this one. There is not one song that I don't love in this CD! It's one of these rare cases where every song is more interesting than the previous one and you can't stop listening to it! If you like classical music and you're also interested in eastern music, by all means buy this! It will be money well spent!

Marked: Number 1 in series (House of Night)
Marked: Number 1 in series (House of Night)
by P. C. Cast
Edition: Paperback

5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous!, 10 Aug. 2010
I read this book in just one day! I absolutely loved it! The House of Night series is one of the best vampire series I've read. P.C Cast has created a whole new world, with quite a different and refreshing view at vampires that what we're used to. The series is definitely targeted at teenagers, but not the younger ones and it is carefully written in teenage language but it is not lacking in vocabulary.
"Marked" is about a teenage girl, Zoe,that becomes a vampire fledgeling and moves to the House of Night, which is a vampire school,in a world where everyone knows that vampires exist and they're not the terrifing and violent creatures they usually appear to be in literature. The plot is great and the story moves in quite a fast pace. wiccans will love this book,as it has a fair share of elemental magic into it and rituals quite similar to many wiccan rituals. It also has quite a lot of information on Indians and their beliefs and tradition, since Zoe is part Cherokee, with a fabulous Cherokee grandmother you can't help but adore!
I won't say anything else cause I don't want to spoil the plot, but I'd really recommend this book to anyone who likes books on vamps and magic. This series is the best P.C. cast has written, and the contribution of her daughter to writing these books is obvious,if you compare the House of Night books to the other series P.C. cast has written. If you liked P.C. previous books you'll definitely love this one!

5.0 out of 5 stars THE book on the Law of Attraction!, 10 Aug. 2010
'd like to start by saying that I've been reading books on the Law of Attraction for more than a decade, long before "The Secret" was written the the Law of Attraction books came in fashion.
This book is the best book I've read on the subject for three reasons:
1) It was written through channeling a group of non material entities,so the way all questions are answered is quite different than most books. In most books on the Law of Attraction, the answers are given by a human, which may cause some problems because even though the writer has a book about how to manifest things in your life, therefore he or she has already tried the method and believes in it,he/she is still a human,so he/she is bound to have some doubts about some things (like explaining how all the wars and other catastrophic events in human history was actually created by the victims' mind). Either you choose to believe that "Ask and it is given" was written by non matterial entities or not, what is definitely obvious is that it is written in a 100% loving and non judgemental way you cannot find in other books. The answers to the questions the book is posing are given in such a loving way that you feel that the writer is gently taking you by the hand and showing you things from a different perspective, like looking at planet earth from above and finally being able to see the big picture, untangling the mess of contradictory beliefs we all have on different matters.
2)The second part of the book is a set of 22 exercises that really help you to put the Law of Attraction in use. What's more, there's a system based on the way you feel at that particular moment that helps you choose the correct exercise at any given time, which is great because many people initially believe in the Law,and then something bad happens and they say "no,it doesn't really work" and give up. Using the right exercise based on how you feel though, this obstacle is easily overcome and little by little, you start creating more and more things you want into your life.
3)While I agree with previous reviewers that the book is repetitive, this repetition actually works in your favor, because the more you reed the more you believe in the reality of its message, and when it starts discussing a topic that is stressful to you (for example money) the repetition helps you stay happy and positive, because it helps you to keep away all the negative beliefs you had on that particular subject WHILE reading the chapter, which in turn helps you decide that this area of your life can and will be changed you if set your mind to it.
In conclusion, this is one of the best books that help you to actually use the principles outlined in books like "The Secret" and definitely the best book from the Abraham-Hicks series. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in the Abraham-Hicks books. If you want to read one book from this series to see if it helps you, this is THE book!

3.0 out of 5 stars interesting but nothing special, 10 Aug. 2010
As a fan of most of the vampire book series I picked up this book as something to read while on vacation. The series is aimed at teenagers and, while the book is interesting and the plot moves swiftly,it didn't really impress me,compared to many other vampire series out there. I'll definitely reed the whole series, but if you decide to buy this book don't expect to be overly impressed. If you're a fan of vampire literature you'll like it,if you're a fan of the writer you might be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely hilarious!, 4 Jan. 2004
I saw this book online and it immediately caught my eye.I had a feeling that it would be good, and I was absolutely right:if you start reading this book, you just can't put it down! Some of the stories are unbeliavable and so funny that you cry with laughter. Some others are strange, although not really funny, but the author's excellent witty humor make them enjoyable and funny too.
I think that some of the facts that there are in this book are really interesting, like the history of the zip and the story of the lady that survived from the Titanic, and not only.

4.0 out of 5 stars a very good book, 2 Jan. 2002
I got this book hoping to find a way to commuicate with a dead friend, but it also proved useful in finding information on what happens when somebody dies and how's the world in which we live after our death.A very good book if you want to get some basic information on the subject.
