5.0 out of 5 stars Great gift book for Hibees, 6 Oct. 2012
This is a trivia book first and foremost, but it's written in an engaging and humorous style that will make you want to go back to it time and time again. Great value and would make a perfect present for the Hibs fan in your life.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Gloucester book for ages, 25 Sept. 2012
This book is absolutely great for all Gloucester fans to dip into. There are loads of facts you won't have heard about before and above all, it comes across with humour. There are snippets and interviews with former players, plenty of references to the neighbouring local amateur clubs and the end result is a wonderful trivia/nostalgia-fest.

Shine On Swansea City: 2011/12 A Season in the Sun
Shine On Swansea City: 2011/12 A Season in the Sun
by Keith Haynes
Edition: Paperback
Price: £9.99

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, 5 Sept. 2012
This new book takes up the story where 'Swansea City 2010/11: Walking on Sunshine' left off. The build-up to Swansea's appearance in the Premier League is told in Keith Haynes' inimitable style and there's plenty of fun and unfettered opinion on the way through the 2011/12 season, which was ultimately a great success for the club. A thoroughly recommended book, and it really is no-holds-barred stuff.

Norwood: A Second Selection (Britain in Old Photographs)
Norwood: A Second Selection (Britain in Old Photographs)
by John Coulter
Edition: Paperback
Price: £12.99

5.0 out of 5 stars Super book, 5 Sept. 2012
I have read all John Coulter's local history books on Norwood, and this one is by far the best. It's got a wide selection of old photographs covering the whole area, and shows a mixture of streets, buildings, people and places. His encyclopaedic knowledge of the area shines through on every page.

5.0 out of 5 stars An interesting take on Mauger's career, 3 Aug. 2012
This is a book comprised of people's memories of Ivan Mauger, rather than one person's summing-up of his career and life story. Because it's made up of so many different opinions, I felt that I got a clearer all-round picture of the man himself. Some love him, some clearly can't stand him, but at the end of the day, I suppose you can't argue with his record of success. I recommend this book - it's interesting, unbiased and has some great anecdotes too.
