5.0 out of 5 stars A booking with real care for and respect for women and the most natural process of childbirth, 30 Dec 2013
A thoughtful and insightful book about childbirth and how it should be and can be for all women.
Explains the different process of pregnancy and childbirth and how the obstacles of fear and ignorance in the mother or those assisting the birth can sometimes be the biggest cause of a long and difficult labour and enhancer of pain in labour. Written by man who truly loves the magic and sacredness of childbirth and appreciates what is required by the mother and for the mother to keep it that way. Well worth reading. Reassuring empowering and educational

Jamaican Warriors: Reggae, Roots & Culture
Jamaican Warriors: Reggae, Roots & Culture
by Stephen Foehr
Edition: Hardcover

4.0 out of 5 stars Journey through the story of the reggae culture and creation on Jamaica, 5 April 2013
A great insight into the beginning of reggae, how it began why it began and why it is still an important musical movement. Written by someone who has a sensitivity and understanding of the complexities of Jamaica and Jamaicans Finding a way to express there truth and experience of suffering from the beginning of slavery through colonialism up to today's still oppressive political system.
After reading this book you will not listen to reggae in the same way - but with a deeper understanding of the roots from where it digs deep to then sing out and reach as many people as it can. The rebellious fire burning and love sharing evangelical mission of the rastafari. A great read. Thankyou .
