Onecut 3.5" Ceramic Pocket Knives with carbon fiber handle

4.0 out of 5 stars really smart looking., 28 Jan. 2015

Took a while to come through but its shipped from Singapore so thats understandable. Came within the time frame given though. The ceramic blade is shaving sharpe on mine on delivery but i'll be intrested to see how sharpe it will stay after every day usage. Really light, really nice looking, good size thumb stud so easy one handed deployment. Solid linear lock in handle, very little blade play. For the money really can't fault it, well pleased. Would have been five stars but came with just a few tiny marks on carbon fibre scale. Nothing too bad though and i will soon mark them through using it anyway. All in all well chuffed.

This is a good book. Even though it's quite short ,it tells the incredible story of a very brave and humble man in his own word and his sons. Well worth a read. Inspiring and moving. We owe men like these an awful lot. Buy it read ,if your interested in the subject matter, you'll love it. I did.

I've not read many books on the conflict in Korea, found this a good place to start. Well written ,it follows several combatants first hand accounts as well as giving a overall statistical picture of events that took place. Found it informative easy to read and although gritty and moving in places really enjoyable. Great book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very moving, 25 Oct. 2013

This man's life story is something that anyone who thinks they have it ruff should read at least once cover to cover. We do an a lot of moaning about how bad things are today, but we don't know we're born compared to this generation.
Born at the height of Stalin's oppression of Ukraine with everything that entailed. Lived through the Nazis invasion. Walked 2000 miles to freedom and wrote this memoir to help exorcise some ghosts I'd imagine. Simply written it's a heart felt and incredible story. Read it. Really moving.

Really good book. I enjoyed reading it. Well written and pasted this is a collection of memories and story's of the authors campaign in Burma. He writes with dignity and compassion, and you really feel his pride in having served and fought with so many brave men of India. A moving book. Well worth a read.

4.0 out of 5 stars Bit of an eye opener, 19 Oct. 2013

This book is a good read for anyone interested in the subject. It's well written and informative. Not to long or dry it keeps you interested. I found the chapters on the young Stalin very interesting. It's astonishing that someone like this man managed not to be killed by one of his contemporaries. Gives you a view into the mind of probably the most ruthless and murderous man ever to be in charge of so many innocent people and the horrific consequence.

5.0 out of 5 stars Jesus Mary and jossive, 2 Jun. 2013
What a book.!!

This man's story is incredible, quite simply incredible. You really have to read it to believe it.
And we think we've got it tuff nower days. Kind of puts things in to perspective.
Basically, upon having being given 25 years hard labour by the pesskivitch Russians, for approximately naff all and having found himself transported against his will to the north of chuffing Siberia. Our hero and 6 other like-minded nut bags decide it's not for them. So they escape. By walking to bloody India!
That's right these men walk from northern Siberia to India in there bid for freedom. 4000 miles on foot, out of the hell of Siberia into Mongolia across the Gobi into Tibet over the Himalayas to freedom, sounds like a nice stroll ay anyone up for it ,a bracing year long walk to build the leg muscles ?!!
Seriously though, this is a must read true story of epic proportions. Of the depth of the human spirit and sheer determination. Absolutely magnificent. Get it read it a be amazed. Loved this book...
