Eva Petulengro is a talented writer who has produced a book that is a real page turner. Apart from the fascinating insight into the real life of the Romany culture, it strikes me at how happy and fulfilled she was throughout most of her childhood by the simple things in life and the amount she learned from her parents at such a young age. The time spent with her mother and family and the chores she had to undertake produces a child who is both mature with sound morals and very healthy worth ethic. Compare that to the children of this generation who are brought up contributing little to the family chores are seemingly made happy simply by purchasing the next 'in thing' and it makes me a little sad at the society my own children are growing up in :( Like the other comment, I'd love to hear what happened to her life once she'd had her own children......
