A really good watch. It was certainly much better than I expected it to be - to be honest I expected a damp, dour version of Mama Mia. Well worth the money and the time. Even if you don't like the story it's full of great music and marvellous views of Edinburgh.

This is the six, or seventh time I have read this, but the first on Kindle. A really enjoyable romp towards Armageddon. These two authors should really have collaborated more often.

As usual a fantastic book from Mr Pratchett. The railway engine (as it can only exist on Discworld) comes to Ankh-Morpork - as do the Goblins. The Grag Dwarves are getting short-tempered, Vetinari is being patient (not a good thing), Moist Von Lipwig and Harry King get involved in the formation of the railway with an honest and fair lawyer (only on Discworld).

Death is dead, well retired and looking forward to death. Sort off. As usual, from Terry Pratchett, a very enjoyable book where he takes (to us) every day events and items and twists them to fit Discworld.

4.0 out of 5 stars The rain - part 1, 2 Feb 2014

Enjoyable read. It started off quite slow (and seemed to be describing a typical summer in Dumfries). The authors' writing style, I found, took some getting used to, and on several occasions I came close to giving up on it. I am glad, however, that I didn't as it developed into a very enjoyable read and one of those books you just don't want to put down until the end.. See my review for part 5.

Very enjoyable read. I found that I became immersed in the book and was disappointed when I reached the end, particularly as it carries on in The Snow (of which only part 1 is available at the moment).
Very good read - thoroughly recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars Short but funny, 2 Nov 2013

This book is short and doesn't take long to read, but is full of funny (although deliberately inaccurate) information on calorie usage for different positions and scenarios for shagging yourself skinny. Certainly not the book to buy your mother, or favourite aunt, if they are on a diet. Very funny, especially if you, like the author, have a dirty mind.
