McCloud season seven is great and I bought it as almost new, believe me it was brand new and worth every penny of Approx £12.00
Starring Dennis Weaver as deputy marshal Sam McCloud, guaranteed action and thrills all the way, season seven is the final season however magic all the way for sure in my opinion.
Rough tough six feet 2 inch texan deputy marshal, feeling like a fish on dryland, while now working in newyork city in a endless showdown with some of the meanest criminal in the big apple. Saddle up and enjoy these great classic episodes, have they aged, of course yes, you don't see any laptops or mobile phones, yet still it's a great show.
At the time of broadcast 5 stars and a brilliant show, now by todays yard stick, maybe 4 stars, it's a great show today and in days gone by pure brilliant.
This Denmark released, PAL/Region 2 DVD: LANGUAGES: English ( Dolby Digital 2.0 ), Danish ( Subtitles ), Finnish ( Subtitles ), Norwegian ( Subtitles ), Swedish ( Subtitles ), the subtitles can be removed.

This review is from: Embryo [DVD] (DVD)
Embryo is without doubt a great Science fiction film, Rock Hudson at his very best potraying Dr Paul Holliston a scientist deeply involved in research science on human and animal feotuses,it's a tail of a kind loving man hoping to bring better survival chances to early pregnancies with complications. During a raging storm he accidently runs down a dog, trying to save the dying dogs life, he realises the dog is pregnant and manages to save the life of one of the pup foetuses in his laboratory with newly developed growth hormones, the experiment is a success, a second time he tries a similar experiment trying to save the life of an early developed feotus taken from a recently deceased pregnant lady. Again this time the human foetus is fast tracked with growth hormones and develops into a fully grown adult in just days, she is called victoria a beautiful highly intelligent 25 year old woman, yet things are about to go tragically wrong.

Sadly the quality of the dvd is very poor, the print is obviously taken from video.

Embryo 8.5 . 10 as a sci fi movie
Quality of the movie poor, it's very dark and grainy 4/10
But because I love this film I hope to find somewhere a better print.
If it's possible, look for a better quality print rather than buy this one if possible.

Hope this helps.

5.0 out of 5 stars tdr compact v2, 25 Mar 2011

Well if your thinking about buying a CD/DVD/GAMES Disk Repair Machine the (TDR Compact v2 Disk Repair Machine) is simple to operate and the same to clean, it's a absolute little technical beauty,it leaves disks such as Blueray/DVD's/CD's/Games Sony along with XBox and other disks like new again, and I should know i've had to repair the lot having six children.
I rate this compact v2 from TDR 5/5 it will repair most damaged disks although it's pure brilliant, the only let down I see with the complete package is it has at the moment a poor translated owners manual, But I've talked today with one of the lovely staff at TDR she told me they were shortly going to rewrite the standard manual, that's a good step in the right direction.
The actual disc repair compact v2 is quite small, and doesn't take up much room where ever it's placed,it's a solid little beauty well made and again very simple to operate and clean, the actual changing of the polishing pads is also very simple to do,from the top of the open lid, carefully push against the top of the bearing housings/polishing pads coming through and running flush almost with the top of the lid, these are the two plastic inserts you see on the top of the lid, this takes a little effort, they'll push through mind you, look it's well made and it shouldn't break honestly.
When you have pushed the two bearings/polishing heads out, and believe me it gets easier the next time around,on the underneath of the lid, just push the new replacement up into two holes of the lid all the way home, the polishing pads are passive until they come in contact with the spinning disk,it's the contact of the pads on the rotating disk that make the polishing pads spin.
Often the new replacement polishing pads, when first fitted might not spin, don't be alarmed like me at first everything is ok believe me you've done nothing wrong, remember the polishing pads work with contact on the surface the spinning disk, the polishing pads let me remind you once again are passive, simply put not powered driven, free spinning bearings with a polishing head.
So you have to from the top of the lid sometimes ajust the polishing pads distance by pushing down slightly on the bearings until they start spining.
You know I love this little beauty, it's just fantastic, although it's just in my price bracket,it would be great if it cost around £150.00 instead of £300.00 which it's being sold currently,I've looked around and at this level of disk repair machine seems to be between £200-£300 there are many other brands, but this one the tdr compact v2 hasn't let me down although mine isn't more than a couple months old.
The recommended use is light however basically around 10-15 disks a day, if you push beyond that, the machine might shut down if it gets to hot, protecting the motor.
I collect a lot of import dvd's it can take weeks for them to come, I got sick of opening the rattling dvd case to see a new lose dvd disk seriously scratched and beyond playing, now if this happens I just tdr them back to life.
Be warned mind you, not all damaged disks on what ever format, can be fixed and there are many reasons for this: if the scratch or laser burn is to deep into the data of the disk, then the disk is beyond repair,x box disks outer edge is rounded this also can be Permanent damage in most cases, I would say this tdr compact v2 machine is within it's own class a great product.
Also of course I had to contact the tdr technical team when I first fitted new replacement polishing pads, they explained over the phone why the polishing pads wasn't spinning, but by following their friendly and patient instructions over the phone
it was soon put right. they even have a free phone service.
Well pleased with the machine and the technical support, if you buy this your on a winner.

Compact v2 CD/DVD/Games Disc Repair Machine
Compact v2 CD/DVD/Games Disc Repair Machine

4.0 out of 5 stars product review on TDR Compact V2, 25 Mar 2011
The TDR Compact V2 disk repair machine is multitalented to say the least, this little beauty will repair a huge range of disk formats, cd's, dvd's, blu ray's, xbox's, playstation, wii and even comes with a gamecube adapter.
The machine contents your V2 machine, one 200ml bottle of polish, a gamecube adapter, clamping knob, clean assist, platen rubber mat and turntable, 2 polishing pads and a cloth and spray pack along with a good colour manual.
This V2 machine is truly great, it has a small footprint, so it isn't taking up all your service works area, it is so easy to use and service, it's like an old friend.
My advice is get to know your V2 machine, polishing pad adjustment and replacement is easy, cleaning the disk repair machine is also easy, repairing a disk, just place the disk on the turntable close the lid and press the button, there's no messing around with changing different grade polishing pads, you just pop the disk in and away you go, five/ ten minutes later it's done!
The TDR Compact will remove light to heavy scratches, and can repair up to a dozen disks a day, if the machine gets to hot it will shut it's self down, so it won't get damaged so don't get alarmed this is a well built machine, made to last.
I have personally experienced the TDR technical team and sales staff and I have found them first class and friendly and can sort out most technical problems you might have with your new TDR machine over the phone.
And if it can't be fixed, they will have it picked up usually the following day by courier service, it doesn't come any better than that does it.
I would just like to remind you to quickly get to know your TDR machine, and you should have many years of trouble free use.
The TDR Compact V2 is a great little beauty machine and is only equalled by the Staff at TDR technical and sales.
This disk repair machine has been the best thing I've bought in years, I have a large collection of dvd's and I buy imports that can take weeks to arrive, if their damaged due to a broken dvd cases as they have in the past I don't send them back now, like I had to in the past costing further expenses, that's mostly gone now with my disk repair machine ready and waiting.

I hope this review might help

4.0 out of 5 stars Sci Fi Ultimate Collection, well could B!, 10 Jan 2011

Yeah there looks some pretty goood stuff in this box set dvd movies pack,
yet the thing is/ draw back slightly is the hefty price of thirty pounds,
I'm sure it would sell better at a more lower price.
But it's a fine collection of Sci Fi Movies, from the past, a magic golding time
long since past, so it's great to see these movies preserved for us lesser mortals
to watch again and again at our leisure.
I would like to see this box set pack sell well, fifteen pounds would seem more
of a better price, ultimately selling many more of them, and no doubt making more
profit in the long run, and further distributing the golding age of cinema for
the rest of the world to enjoy.
The USA made some fine, Sci Fi B movies and this box set is a rather good example
with its ten fine Sci Fi offerings.

Terror sweeps a college campus after the discovery of a prehistoric fish that turns animals and humans that come into contact with it into bloodthirsty monsters.
