3.0 out of 5 stars Protect your sony on the cheap, 11 Dec 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this case to use as a temporary one as it was so cheap and i wanted something to put my cyber-shot DSC-w220 into, but i am still using it now as it is so compact it fits nicely into my pocket.
It is rigid enough to protect the camera inside and the little elastic straps inside stop the case from opening fully so your camera wont fall out.
The downsides to this for me were the catches for the shoulder straps as i found them to be very tight to connect to the case buckles themselves, so i ended up leaving the shoulder strap off. But there is a metal loop which easily attaches to the case and then to say your belt buckle, if you want it to that it.
Also, there is no room for accessories, such as spare batteries or spare memory sticks, but that's why pockets were created i suppose.
Anyway, in all, I think i will be using this for a while as i like the fact that i can put it in my pocket with ease and it does really protect the goods inside. It is a cracking little case for such a low price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Extra memory at a good price, 9 Nov 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this 320GB HD to replace the very full 80GB HD on one of my laptops.
It arrived promptly, even though there was a postal strike, and was packaged very securely, in fact it was a little like pass the parcel as i unwrapped it from several boxes.
It took no time at all to clone my 80GB HD onto this HD using an exteranl caddy, which i also purchased at the same time, and once this was done it was a simple matter of swapping drives and re-booting system, Job done, (although to make sure everything was good i did use the vista OS disc to repair any possible errors).
In no time at all i had cloned my old HD, which was now full, to this cheap and cheerful HD, saving all my personal data in no time at all.
It is the first time i have used Western Digital but i do know it won't be the last.

UPDATE...
A year on and this HD is still running as well as it did on day one... (i hope i haven't jinxed it here then).
It is still quiet and quick to use so i am still a happy chappie with this year old purchase...
one thing though, all though this is normal behaviour for a WD, so WD tell me, it does make the odd loud click when shutting down, but after contacting WD they tell me that this is the heads settling in to protect the Drive in case of sudden falls.

4.0 out of 5 stars Turn your internal into an external, the easy way, 9 Nov 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This was ordered and delivered within a few days, which, considering there was a postal strike, was pretty good going.
It was so easy to slot together, sliding a western digital HD into place with such ease, the tiny screwdriver holding the even tinier screws so as not to drop them too easy.
The leads were of a good length, allowing transfers such as HD cloning without any hassle.
And the lovely little cloth case houses the enclosure nicely.
In all, well worth the money for what you get. Highly recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars Weighing scales, 23 Sep 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
These scales are a great non electrical design and are so simple to use. To adjust the weight indicator line you simply move the top part of the casing, which in turn helps weighing differant ingredients as you simply set the line back to zero when adding each new ingredient.
They may not be designed for the smallest of amounst for cooking but are great for most cooking challenges
And with the added plastic mixing bowl which sits on top of the scales you can add and mix in the same bowl, Plus, teh bowl, when turned upside down, sits over the scales and stores away nice and neatly.

4.0 out of 5 stars Glass chopping board, 23 Sep 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This clear glass chopping board will look nice in most kitchens with its plain look.
It can stand the heat of oven trays, claiming up to 200c, although i have taken trays out of the oven which are hotter than that and the glass has with stood the heat.
what more can i say..? It is a good size and is totally transparent with no pattern, so it fits into most kitchen designs, plus the little rubber feet stop it sliding around the worktops.

5.0 out of 5 stars Helps with your memory.., 27 Mar 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I needed some extra memory for my Kodak digital camera as i was getting a little fed up with havong to delete some pictures when my internal memory filled up. I searched around and came across many SD cards to choose from but decided to by this one as the price was so good for the 2GB and the brand... and i'm glad i did.
It arrived promptly and after struggling slightly with the packaging,it slipped straight into my camera with no trouble at all. Then, after going through the menu on the camera i realised i was able to now hold over five throusand shots, or nearly 3 hours of video, both of good quality, and though i tend to take a lot of pictures even i don't think i'll ever fill up this one.
In all, a good price, a well known brand and plenty of space to hold all your memories without having to delete a single one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Batman and Robin have let themselves go a bit, 21 Feb 2009
The same old faces are at it again... with life still an uphill struggle for the Trotter clan. The publican fancy dress party is organised so with Casandra away on holiday and Rachel visiting her parents, Rodney and Del decide to go dressed as Batman and Robin... only things go a little wrong as per usual....
But with a spate of muggings on the estate there disguises are soon doing more than they bargained for...

In all, this episode is another brilliantly comical adventure in the life of the Trotters and there unlucky life style and is well worth watching.

SanDisk 8GB Micro Cruzer USB Flash Drive

4.0 out of 5 stars simple to use and does what it should, 29 Jan 2009
I have owned the 8GB version for a while now and it has done exactly waht i wanted it to do... hold data so i can tranfer it between PCs without the need of a CD/DVD...
It is a nice sized unit which with easy installation and is so simple to use a fool could do it, (i mean i did).
Simply plug it in and away you go... transfer anything you want it to with ease
So for the very low price you're getting a bit of a bargain...

TuneUp Utilities 2008 (PC)
TuneUp Utilities 2008 (PC)

5.0 out of 5 stars Tuneup Utilities 2008, 29 Jan 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
What a great little bit of kit this is, and what a lot it does to help keep your PC running nice and smoothly.
There is just so much it can do it can take a little while to actually get the hang of it so you know exactly what it can achieve.
Once installed the interface does look pleasant and is easy to understand, allowing you to use the program with some confidence, almost like a professional, (but do still take care when `cleaning' your system).

I do know that many of the abilities of this little gem can be achieved by going through your windows itself, such as defragging your disk /registry and uninstalling programs, but to be able to do it fix every thing from one place does save an awful lot of hassle and time.
It is a cheap way to quickly maintain your PC with out hassles and over the top priced programs, where some can actually mess up your system rather than sort it... Tune-up Utilities 2008 wont mess with your system at all...

Out of all the things this little gem can do if I had to pick my favourite it would have to be the `Disk doctor' as it is another little piece of genius. I tended to use this a lot on TU 2007, and have used it quite a few times on this one as well... it checks your drive for any errors with the click of a button... although whilst it is running you can't use your PC, so run this when you're having dinner or something...

But I did find the `Styler' in customise windows very interesting indeed as it gave a few more options of how to change the sometimes boring look on the boot-up and Login pages... with some nice images on offer and many more to actually download, ( although the images do vary on XP and Vista).

My Pcs really do look like individuals now... and have all performed like a Olympic gold medal winner since I installed TU 2008 on them...

In all, a brilliantly priced product which keeps your system happy and clean, like `Andrex' on your bottom...
