5.0 out of 5 stars At last, someone with sense and compassion!, 29 Mar. 2015

An excellent book. Finally someone speaking up for the downtrodden working class. Perhaps there is hope for the future after all. We can only hope and pray that the working classes will get out there and vote on election day. Vote Labour and get rid of this toxic coalition once and for all. If you do not it is not unlikely that Cameron and his accomplices will be reintroducing the Workhouse before the end of their term in office!

This series is difficult to evaluate. When I began it I thought it was a run of the mill Fantasy series - take it or leave it, but as it continued I became hooked on it. The idea behind it is so unusual that I have to know how it ends - and I hope Sienna wins out!

The Far Time Incident (The Incident Series Book 1)
The Far Time Incident (The Incident Series Book 1)
Price: £3.49

4.0 out of 5 stars An interesting story, 2 Nov. 2014
The idea of an unintended journey into the past is intriguing, add in the fact that the time travellers find themselves at the beginning of a major catastrophe, and you have the making of a most interesting story . Unfortunately, having arrived in Pompeii, the story tends to fizzle out and lose its impetus. Nevertheless it is a clever idea and could certainly be the first in a novel series of books.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not so crazy after all!, 9 Oct. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
When I began this book I was mystified, I couldn't, quite see where it was going. It reminded me a little of a TV show called 'Hero's', which started OK, but then began to go round in circles, presumably because they couldn't see how to develop the story! I thought this was going to be the same, but I'm pleased to say I was very wrong. The book became more and more intriguing as it spun out into a number of different plotlines, so much so that I have just bought the next one of the series.

Another wonderful installment in the history of the Fraser family and their associates. Diana's books go from strength to strength and the long wait for the next one will be very hard to endure. Thank you Diana for a wonderful series of fascinating novels.

A pleasant little story for a bit of light relief and easy reading. Suitable reading for horse mad pre-teens, or for someone contemplating getting a horse.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gabaldon does it again!, 6 Mar. 2014

All five of the books in the Outlander series have been brilliant. I can't wait for the next one. Each one seems more
eventful than the previous one. Diana's ability to keep her readers enthralled amazes me. I can not recommend her books strongly enough to do them justice!

The End of Winter: Suspense Thriller - Do you ever really know the one you love?
The End of Winter: Suspense Thriller - Do you ever really know the one you love?
Price: £1.99

4.0 out of 5 stars An interesting tale., 5 Feb. 2014
A sad story of tragic loss, redeemed by a promise at the end. It keeps the reader in the dark, throwing up various red herrings, and as is usual in this type of novel the police are portrayed as being stupid, short sighted, unimaginative and brutal.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Story Telling!, 8 Jan. 2014

Diana Gabaldon always lives up to expectation. This book is so packed with events that it seems as if years have passed in the world of Claire and Jamie, instead of just months - bring on the next book.
