5.0 out of 5 stars His finest work, 6 April 2006
This review is from: London Conversation (Audio CD)
This was the first full album i heard by John Martyn and has remained my favourite since purhcasing Grace & Danger, Solid Air, One World etc. All of his work is marvellous but this has so many strong songs on it. I can't believe how overlooked JM and this album are. London Conversation includes a cover of Bob Dylan's 'Don't Think Twice, Its Alright' which John does brilliantly. What i think makes him special are his unique guitar tuning / pickings and his stunning voice. Unbeatable.

4.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful, 6 April 2006
I am a great fan of all of JM's work. All of which is displayed on this DVD. His voice is just as outstanding live as it is on record. Danny plays bass whilst John swaps between electric and acoustic. Sweet Little Mystery and May You Never are the highlights for me. The reason i have given it 4 stars instead of 5 is because i felt there could've have maybe been one or two more instruments on stage (even just some session musicians adding a bit of percussion).
A great gig nonetheless. Definetely worth buying.

4.0 out of 5 stars A must for any Incubus fan!, 21 Feb. 2002
This DVD is brilliant and shows many elements of Incubus skills. I have seen Incubus live and although this DVD gives a very good example of what you can expect when you go to one of their gigs, actually being in the pit at an Incubus gig is so much better. This band have been together for 10 years and this DVD clearly shows that to you. 4 Live Acoustic Tracks, Plenty of Live footage and I swear I saw Serj Tankian in there somehere. A tour of the tour bus by drummer Jose and the making of "Stellar and "drive" Some funny clips and well worth ... Approx 2.5 hours long. Brilliant but would have liked to see more interviews with the band. 4 stars.
