Great characters and first class plot once again from my favourite author. Really good read. Couldn't put it down. Would recommend this book. Can't wait to see where Anna`s career takes her next.

Privileged to read the stories of these women and what they went through. Couldn't put the book down. It was so interesting reading about an era my own grandmother lived through and one which she said was the happiest time of her life even though there was a war on. This is a must read and remarkable and sometimes heart wrenching account of what happened after hostilities ended. Really brilliant read.

Read all three books and couldn't put any of them down. Would make a cracking TV series. Can't wait for fourth one. Great stories and D C I Gilchrist is a brilliant character.

Really enjoyed this book. Moving account of how one British woman survived enemy occupied France and the obstacles she faced in getting home and also her contribution to SOE Once she returned. A generation of very brave people we should never forget.
