Another very good book. By a very good author. I really enjoyed the story line and the fact that the previous story was effortlessly brought into the book. I found it hard to put the book down.

Maria Costello: Queen of the Bikers
Maria Costello: Queen of the Bikers
Price: £4.64

5.0 out of 5 stars Cracking story,, 2 July 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
A fascinating insight into Maria's struggle to simply be accepted in a clearly male dominated sport. The highs of world records to the lows or injuries and depression. Maria describes with passion her career from a first time motorcyclist on the road to fulfilling her dream of becoming the fastest woman around the Isle of Man. She provides an insight into the at times fragile mind of a racer as well as the determination that anything is achievable with hard work.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not so much a biography of a man, but of an entire way of life,, 31 Mar. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Not so much a biography of a man, but of an entire way of life, "Trawlerman" was a privilege to read from beginning to end. I found it a very good and liked the fact that he put in the funny side, as well as the danger, and boring times.
I think that even if you have had nothing to do with the sea, it is a must read.
