5.0 out of 5 stars I love this! It is great, 5 Mar 2010
This is the best multi tool I have owned. The blades are sharp, the saw is good for light work. The movements is good and smooth. The tools lock out when open, and require you to unlock when you want to put away. The pliers work well. The tools do what they should. I take every opportunity to use this tool in the garden, the shed, anywhere. Comes with a carry case. I recommend this.

Almost 1 year in, and it still works perfectly. I use in the garden, the allotment, the house. It is just perfect. Obviously it does not replace "normal tools" like a selection of screw drivers, but it is handy to have around when you need it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great MP3, great features, great price, tiny size, 27 Dec 2009
After a long time looking at reviews I decided to go for the Sansa clip+ 8 GB and have not been disappointed. I wanted a player for music (MP3 and WMA) and podcasts, and this does all that I need it to do.

Playing - As other have said, it is very small, but mine has 8 GB of internal and I also got an 8 GB micro SD card. The player allows you to play stuff from either internal or external memory or will show it all together in 1 seamless list - which is quite good. I have nearly filed the MP3 and all the play options seem to work really well. You can play all, by artist, podcast, album, genre and recently added - so even though there can be quite a lot of stuff you can usually easily find that new album or podcast quickly. This player will allow you to turn off through a podcast and return to the same point - which is useful for long recordings.

Sound - I got a pair of Phillips earphones and the sound is pretty good. There is an EQ and the volume is loud enough for me

Usability - I find this quite good and can usually get to where I want to go quickly. The instructions are minimal but you can get a full set on line. But you should be able to work without them. I think this is very easy to use. The screen is simple but tells you all you need. If you have a play around there are interesting features, like if you press the centre button the screen changes to EQ. Press again it tell you the next song. Also, while playing a song, if you press down you can get access to load of features, such as the music list, sound features or track information

Power - this seems good so far. I have used for many hours and not had any problems

The MP3 has an FM radio which works ok. You can record what you are listening to.

All in all I think this is a very good MP3 and a fantastic price.

UPDATE: 1 year later it is still going strong. I refresh the music and podcasts at least weekly and use it for at least 20 hours a week. Battery life is about 15 hours. If anything went wrong I would consider replacing with the same model (because of the specification, the price and the size of the device).

3.0 out of 5 stars Its works ok but has some of drawbacks, 30 July 2007
This is indeed a tiny player with lots of features, such as 2gb, video player, photos, FM receiver and games. It is also a great price for a 2gb piece of kit. It is also very small with a large screen.

There are some drawbacks which have resulted in me using my player less than i did with previous MP3 machines. The drawbacks are only minor but are:
-The headphones supplied are poor and are a 2.5mm socket. Get a 2.5mm to 3.5 mm converter from maplin and some reasonable in-ear phones and it will be much better.
-The buttons are a bit cheap and it doesnt feel like a quality piece of kit
- My screen is a little loose inside the machine and moves around a little
- The menu is not intuitive and it can be a little frustraing to navigate around and play the songs you want.
- The devide is not compaible with media player 10 or 11 and you have to drag and drop files from windows.
- It is difficlt to play the songs you want, when you want them. I.e. you can create upto 9 sub folders (while connected to your computer) in the device and then you can play songs in those files, in sequence or randomly.
- You cannot play songs by artist, years, genre or any other selection. Only those in each folder. If you do not set up a folder you will just have a long list of songs to play in sequence or ramdonly.
- it can take a while to transfer songs. It took several minutes to transfer 4 albums.
- when playing music the large screen is largly wasted with a graphic equaliser and the name of the song and artist scroll slowly across a part of the screen.
