5.0 out of 5 stars great glasses, great value, compatible with Epson EH TW5910, 1 Sep 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Ordered Hi-shock Epson compatile 3d glasses earlier, twice the price of THIS product, but they turned out to be faulty.
This pair of Epson Compatible ValueView works fine with Epson EH TW5910, looks great, has a decent pouch, and looks like the Hi-SHocks....
Definitelly would recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars lovely lamp and makes the room look cosy, 19 Aug 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
A lovely little lamp (not as little as other reviewers say, about 10.5 inches tall, which is stated in the description) and is pretty well made.
Looks really good, very nice, original design, and isn't difficult to assemble at all. All parts fitted perfectly, and I am not the greatest builder in the world. It took me about 10mins to assemble, you just need a screwdriver, that's all.
The problem might be a small light bulb it takes (one is provided with the lamp), I guess E10, but you can get them on Amazon or ebay.
Gives out a warm light, just enough to brighten up the room and give it a cosy atmosphere, but don't expect it to be a 'reading' lamp.

5.0 out of 5 stars She'll show you how nice a woman can be..., 15 Aug 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Well, I am Sinead fan...but the album is VERY VERY GOOD, and you will definitelly love it, if you give it a good listen. LOTS of standing out, catchy/quiet/angry/ and/or loud songs, powerful vocals and good lyrics. You couldn't ask for more.

And...make sure you get the deluxe edition, even just for the nice packaging (non plastic, digipack in the UK, really cool booklet with lyrics, pictures, and some 'stories') but I guess the album would NOT be complete without a pretty 'sweet' number 13 (bonus) song, my favourite really.

1.0 out of 5 stars beware, 7 April 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
...how do I start?
You look at the cover, read the title, that it is supposed to be a REALLY nice 'documentary' with beautiful pictures and great information as it is supposed to be a "visual journey around the worl in STUNNING high-definition." That's why I bought it.

ok...about the stunning high-definition:
it's barely a DVD quality, far from stunning, and most or maybe even all shots are taken on a dull clouded day. I do know we don't get much sun in the UK, but we sometimes DO. The makers of the film could and SHOULD have waited for a much better weather and could have bothered cleaning the lense of the camera. Yes! You can actually see the smudge and dust on the camera!!!

the content:
Britain is a beautiful, green place, with many ancient ruins, great architecture, stunning landmarks. And what do they show on the film? I watched about 15mins of the 1st part- about Kew Gardens. Boring nattarion, boring information, boring camera shots, dull dark shots, irritationg camera move shows bad quality of the equipment it was recorded on (as if it was taken by 10 frames per second film). I couldn't stand it, so I forwarded it to the next part. London- tour around Houses of Parliament.Boring information, boring shots from OUTSIDE of the place, quality of the passer bvideo camera, with the boring narration of a woman,as if she was reading from a Wikipedia, again on a dull day.
Sorry, I could take only 5 mins of watching it and jumped straight to this review to warn all the potential buyers.
Please don't waste your time or money, it isn't worth a penny.

5.0 out of 5 stars really pleased with it, 10 Mar 2013
DAB radio works really good and clear. So does the FM radio, but digital reception is more than enough for me.
INTERNET radio via wifi is really good, although the radio does lose router signal at times, but my router is in the other room, so not bad. It's very easy to find your favourite music stations from all parts of the world and you can save them to your Favourites List. Most stations will display the title and the artist they play.
USB mp3 play works really fine and has enough functions to display title, artist, time, quality.
The display of the radio/timer is very functional, and isn't too bright when you dim it to the minimum, just enough to check the time when you wake up at night.
You can set an alarm on it (though I have never used it) and use sleep timer to make the unit turn itself off after some time (after you fall asleep for example).
Sound quality is really good for the size of this equipment, pretty powerful(bass too), but you can connect it with your stereo via small jack output.
The remote is small, light, slim, and very functional. I do use it very often, and the batteries are still fine.

The only improvement they could have done would be to easier choose your favourite stations as you cannot set them according to numbers (as far as I am aware) except for assigning 5 favourite stations to 5 buttons at the front of the radio. So if you have lots of stations saved in the menu while you browse the internet or DAB stations, you will need to go back to it and choose the station you want manually, going up or down the list. It isn't a big problem, but a bit difficult to do especially if you sit far from the radio and cannot see the small letters of the station names.

All in all, the unit has a lot of good functions, and it's quite easy to work out what to do even without the manual. I have had it for over a year and I couldn't be more satisfied with it.
I would definitelly recommend it as a radio for your kitchen or bedroom, or even your stereo if you want a multi functional unit.

1.0 out of 5 stars bad value for money..., 30 May 2011
This review is from: Born This Way (Audio CD)
I won't really bother to comment on each of the songs... since most of them sound the same, not to be too rude- like a very cheap 1990s disco music... (which we all DO love, but I would think it had died out some time ago.)
Possibly, the only outstanding and pretty interesting 'tune' being the last one, the remix version of the title track, which already says something about the quality and the novelty of Gaga's new production. It's all too little to give credit to someone so often called the new Madonna, the new Queen of Pop, especially when THIS album bares almost no resemblance to POP music at all.
Little Monsters will surely LOVE IT, but most of us won't find many tracks to go back to after one or two listenings of the whole set. She might start becoming an Icon, a fashion one, not the music Icon though. It's just her second LP (I wouldn't count the Monster as a separate one,) and it already lacks what the Fame Monster had- easily recognisable Gaga style, catchy tunes.
It's a little unfair to charge for the separate tracks while selling the product as a one big disco mumbo-jumbo, and I bet it wasn't meant to be the Ibiza set, either. Maybe that's why Amazon.com was selling the digital downloads of the WHOLE ALBUM charging only 99 cents. Maybe it's just marketing to boost the sales, so it looks like it's a good album.
Let's wait and see if Gaga will be here to stay when she releases someting better, but for now, Born this Way doesn't really put her on the right track.

1.0 out of 5 stars BEWARE!, 5 Jan 2011
This song has NOTHING to do with Madonna- the one we know...
just some weird squeaks of a 'woman' with some poor electro music...
wonder why Amazon is selling it under the Queen's genuine name....
do BEWARE!
