4.0 out of 5 stars great for all your music, 28 Sept. 2005
i got my ipod 20gb about 2 months ago, and was really impressed with the packaging, but when i tried loading the software that comes with the ipod found it wouldnt load due to not having windows xp, which costs alot to buy. but having got xp sorted, i was really happy with everything it did, the colour screen is great quality and the pictures look as good as they do on your computer screen, also if you download your music from itunes you get a picture of the album cover the song is on. the music sounds great on it, and you can also change the eq settings to suit your preference. But, one thing i'l say is that the screen, and the infact the rest of the ipod scratches REALLY easily, only after having and using it the screen was scratched and the chrome backing had all scuff marks on it, so if you buy one invest in a case for it.the ones i bought were the pack of three silicone cases which comes with three screen protecters, they dont look great but the do the job of protecting your ipod.because of that i have only given it 4 stars, but other than that i think the 20gb photo is definitly worth the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sheer Genius!, 1 Feb. 2005
This review is from: A Love Supreme (Audio CD)
This is very much a Desert island disc for me, and it is just amazing. 'Trane is unbelievable all of the time on this record, as the rest of the band is, and Drummers listen to the start of track three one of the best things ive ever heard on drums! This is only gonna be a short review, but straight to the point, great album, my favorite Trane album, and probably alot of other peoples, not enough words to describe its brilliance! This truely is a Love Supreme!

5.0 out of 5 stars Well they have finally got round to releasing this!!, 23 Nov. 2004
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I couldn't believe it as i was looking on this site and found that they have finally released the Montreaux concerts on DVD, and in such a good way. The documentary is also very good in its own right but the concert footage itself is utterly unbelievable, you have got footage of Stevie before it all happened, and in the midst of it all, and it is all great!! Well worth the twelve quid!! NOt the best of quality, but the music makes you forget about all of that. If you have or don't have the CD of the same thing, it doesn't matter, it is a great buy for die hard Stevie fan's, or the people who have heard his name through the grapevine, it is a fantastic watch.

5.0 out of 5 stars Unbelievable, 23 Nov. 2004
This review is from: Blue Train (Audio CD)
I put this album in my CD player, and just couldn't believe my ears, from the word go it just clicks. It has to be said that my favorite 'Trane album has to be A Love Supreme, but if your into that 50's loose Jazz you can't go far wrong with this album. One thing that i really thought was great was the fact that all of the musicians on the recording have solo's on it on most if not all the tracks. This gives a great Spontaneity to the sound that's produced, a real smoky Jazz club feel! This is a must for the Discerning Jazz Fan!!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Could of Been Better, 23 Nov. 2004
This review is from: Sketches of Spain (Audio CD)
I was looking forward to hearing this record, having heard alot about it, both good and bad, but i had no expectations at all. I was very open minded about it as i know what miles Davis albums can be like. But as i put the record on and began to listen to it, i thought great, this sounds amazing, very miles, but from the second track onwards i was hugely dissapointed. The opening track is fantastic and lives up to the name of the album, but i just think that there is something lacking in this record, and it could have been something very special, the same way "BIrth of Cool" and "Kind of Blue" was, they had a certain feel to them that i felt this album lacked. I'm not saying that its a rubbish album, because it wasn't, but it just lacked a certain something that i can't lay my finger on!
