5.0 out of 5 stars Essential for AMHP course, 3 Jan 2013

Quoted Tew often re:social perspectives approach, not a great deal out there in comparison to the medical model therefore for a Social Worker AMHP I think this is an invaluable book.

House of Silence
House of Silence
by Linda Gillard
Edition: Paperback
Price: 6.51

4.0 out of 5 stars an intriguing read, 3 Jan 2013
This review is from: House of Silence (Paperback)
I really liked this story, read it in two sittings and enjoyed it. I like to read the interactions of the characters with one another and felt the personalities were a good mix. I found Rae to be a bit inconsistent (memory problems dissipated rapidly at the end) but this didn't detract from a really good story. Will read more from this author.

Loved this collection of tiny tales, some longer than others and each offered thought provoking stories with well formed characters, perfect for lunchtime escapism. A wonderful book from a very talented author. Buy it.

A great read, I couldn't wait to get to the end, but now I want more! Looking forward to more from this author.
