5.0 out of 5 stars Simply brilliant!, 9 Jun 2009
Kris Radlinski has written a candid and honest autobiography which is a fantastic read. Many sportmens tend to give a sanitised version of their career and you get the feeling they are missing out some of the best, and more controversial, bits. But Radlinski pulls no punches and reveals what he really thought about the other characters he played with. He was undoubtedly one of the best players of his generation and gives an insight into what it was like to compete at the highest level which will appeal to more than just rugby fans.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome book for any football fan!, 21 Jun 2006
This book is quite simply the best football book I've ever read. I don't think any team will ever do what Wigan have done, and that's why Season of Dreams will appeal to every football fan. The book is bigger than I expected - more than 250 pages - and is packed with interesting facts and great, colour piccies. But the best bit are the chapters. They brought the memories of the season flooding back and the chapters alternate between reviews of each month with features about the club, Paul Jewell, different players and the way the football club changed perceptions of Wigan around the world. There are loads of contributions from players and there are quite a lot of funny bits too. The book says it offers "the greatest insight yet into the heartbeat of Wigan Athletic" - that sums it up. All in all a top book!!!
