This is so superior to every other guide to effective business and office writing that it deserves to be much better known. It's obviously based on wide experience of office writing and the common traps that business writers fall into. It's also very funny. How one reviewer can describe a book of 160 pages as 'verbose' is beyond me. The book is tightly written, and also includes exercises to make sure you've picked up the point of each chapter. Utterly indispensible. I'm buying a copy for all my staff. They should also use it in schools and colleges to make sure that children learn to write powerfully and don't get fooled by some of the grammatical myths and bad writing habits that teachers often spread.
