The Secret Everyone Knew
The Secret Everyone Knew
Price: £0.77

5.0 out of 5 stars A novel, 17 Sep 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is rubbish. This woman was supposedly abused physically and mentally by both parents yet when she had her own children she still sees them both! Why? She loves her kids apparently so why leave them with a paedophile father and a psychotic mother. Also I find it difficult to believe this was written by someone with a university education. It is badly spelt and disjointed. I think she was a kid out of control who slept and drank around, who eventually grew up. She mixed with the uni crowd so there was much much more help to call upon than some poor unfortunates

This is rubbish. There is an ad EVERY time you touch the screen. If you don't open the ad your device stops working. It told me my kindle fire HD was out of date! This is the 3rd time I've tried to download this and its happened every time. Don't bother, there are much better free escape games out there. Zero stars. Never got passed 3 touches on my KF

This is a fabulous unputdownable read. I finished it at one sitting. A stunning debut novel. I am looking forward already to Dani Atkins' next book.

1.0 out of 5 stars Fact or fiction?, 3 April 2014
After the supposedly worse start in life this woman marries for the second time, a violent, mad heavy drinker, wants to leave him but can't because she has nobody to help or no money. Oh pleeze!!!! She ends up in London which has a generous welfare system AND social services. She runs a business, can buy a house without a mortgage, has her own car, can afford regular trips to Ireland, then swans off to Canada leaving her kids in the care of her drinky, druggy violent husband???????? There seems to have been plenty money for holidays and houses but not enough to leave him and no problem in finding money for houses or trips when she finally does. I had nobody she bleats, yet her book refers to her friends.!!! Seems to me she blames everyone but herself, and has a hard time living with decisions she has made. Another poor me book. An insult to women who Don't have money to leave abusive partners.

Scarlett's Secret: A real-life short story by Casey Watson
Scarlett's Secret: A real-life short story by Casey Watson

2.0 out of 5 stars Too short, 8 Mar 2014

Is Casey only writing for the money now? This wasn't worth the price. Spun out I felt. Could have condensed into two chapters and been free of charge. Previous books definitely worth purchasing though.

Just a Boy: An Inspiring and Heartwarming Short Story
Price: £0.99

1.0 out of 5 stars Too short, 2 Feb 2014
What a cheek charging for this book, it's far too short a story. A couple of chapters would be a better description! The rest of the book is made up from excerpts from Watson's other books which is fine if you don't know the author but leaves you feeling short changed if you do.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not a good read, 19 Dec 2013

I found this story to be more like a fairy tale. Disjointed and whimsical, I found myself skimming over a lot of it. Pure la la land.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great game!, 12 Dec 2013

I reluctantly downloaded this as I'd had an awful lot of trouble downloading 2 previous hidden object games. But this game downloaded beautifully and is such a fabulous game! The grandkids and I had hours of fun with this so I checked out everything free from Blueheart studios and downloaded those too, trouble free. I was so impressed I bought a couple more. Well done Blueheart, great games.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not good, 12 Dec 2013

Had the same trouble with this (see my other review about hidden object game) Note to manufacture; I do not want to have a slot machine game if I want this game as well. Why can't I have the choice? It sent my Kindle haywire. Best avoided
