1.0 out of 5 stars Tat, 20 Feb. 2015

Complete tat. Nothing 'leather' about it. Hard, smooth plastic case. Doesn't form a supportive triangle. Absolutely the worst cover I've had for our many iPads and iPhones.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bye bye iPhone (really)., 1 July 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought the Moto G 4G to replace my iPhone 4s which sounds like a bit of a come down but in practice isn't. On the downside the camera is only so-so, and I've had the same microSD card issues that others have reported (in my case the phone refused to work with a ScanDisk 32g Ultra but now works fine with a no brand 16g card). On the upside this phone does everything that my iPhone did for less than a third the price. The screen is great, everything works quickly and smoothly (as it should), and I even found the switch to Android fairly painless. I am particularly impressed by how the internal and external storage work together - no need to tell it to switch, it really is seamless. I like the look of the phone, it doesn't feel cheap or plasticy. For my usage the battery life is better than the iPhone and easily lasts a day. I decided to switch because I realised that I only did a few basic things with my phone (email, text, browse, and follow the news and sport via the excellent BBC apps) and I couldn't justify shelling out £500+ every couple of years for that. It's only been a few days but I can't imagine going back.

3.0 out of 5 stars I'm still waiting ..., 16 April 2014
First up I don't own this product. Nor do I own Apple TV, nor a Youview box ... and the reason is that NONE of them do the job of allowing me to watch all the free content on the internet on my TV. Each one has a small list of things it can do and a long long list of content you can't access. This is not a technology issue but the content providers trying to control their connection to the customer. So I'm still waiting ...

3.0 out of 5 stars Going no where, 18 Feb. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Really struggling to finish watching season 3. The violence, even horror, is on the increase. Some scenes are pure pornography. I know the author takes his inspiration from real events such as the Wars of the Roses but there is very little by way of plot development and no character development. The characters are often one dimensional. Compare the series to true classics such as I Claudius - full of terrible people doing horrible things but they are properly fleshed out and they have a purpose. I thought season 1 good, season 2 frustrating, and was hoping that seasons 3 would actually have a proper plot but it doesn't. A terrible waste of amazing acting and top draw production.

1.0 out of 5 stars Very cheap pens, 23 Nov. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
All this is is a cheap pen with a squashy bit of rubber on the end! Bought to go with a drawing app and it adds nothing to the experience. Would really like to buy a pen that provides a true drawing experience on an iPad - this isn't it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth the price, 21 Nov. 2013
Great sound and looks good. Didn't connect to iphone on first attempt but not the speakers fault - had to reset the phones network settings (look under Settings/General/Reset). Apparently this is a common problem with Bluetooth devices. The sound is excellent - reminds me of an old fashion ghetto blaster from the '80's :)

2.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't do what it says on the tin, 24 Aug. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The good advice in this book could be written down in half-a-dozen pages at most. The rest is a bit dull. The author is clearly sincere in wanting to help people find their passion and in his belief that going so is a good thing. Can't argue with that. But the declared aim of this book is to tell you how to find your element and it really doesn't do that. The problem is ALL the stories of people following their passions start with a natural process of discovery - most of them a single life changing experience after which they just 'knew' what they had to do. None of the stories tell of someone who found their element through a process of analysis. I finished the book feeling that I hadn't learnt anything new or moved forward. I DID do the activities but this became harder because they are very repetitive and frankly unimaginative.

I came away liking the author and would have liked to have given the book a higher rating but it simply doesn't deliver on its aim.

3.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing, 9 April 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this as a replacement for an old Belkin N wireless router that was starting to get temperamental. The TP promised to have a longer range, faster speed and to be easy to set-up. In practice it was a pain to set-up because it kept reverting to the factory settings for network name and password - I had to set it up 3 times before it permanently (I hope) accepted the changes. Now that it's working I find that its range is no better than the old Belkin, and neither is the speed! I'm hoping it will turn out to be more reliable and then it will be worth the £20 (just), however it's certainly not an upgrade. I live in a small house and still find it hard to get a router that can give me wireless throughout! I'd be interested to hear if there really are affordable routers out there that can handle a normal brick build house.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great game, 26 Nov. 2007
This review is from: Endless Ocean (Wii) (Video Game)
Like the other reviews say this is a great game and a refreshing change from shooting, fighting and racing. I'd just like to add that I bought this for my six year old son who's mad about the ocean and he loves it, so it really is suitable for any age. We just hope that the makers branch out to other parts of the ocean and land exploration too ...

1.0 out of 5 stars What a disappointment, 12 July 2007
One week into owning this phone and it's been a very frustrating experience. As a phone it's fine (but no better than my old £20 basic model), as a radio it's mediocre, as a camera it's very medicore (nothing like as good as a cheap 2 mega camera) and as an MP3 player it's a complete pain. I'm new to MP3 and thought by now I'd be happily downloading tracks off the interent but it's not compatible with any of the legitimate download sites. I also bought a SonyWalkman FM transmitter so I could use it in my car but the sound quality with that is appalling. This phone does a lot but doesn't do any of it very well. I wouldn't buy this phone again, instead I'd stick to carrying around my proper camera, my cheap and cheerful old phone and buy an iPod for music.
