Yoga for healthy lower backs, 8 Nov 2012
This is a really useful book packed with information, that is well-researched and presented. Rather than being a stand-alone book for self-help it is a companion book to a specific 12-week-course, run by Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs (YHLB). This YHLB course is aimed at people who suffer periodic / general and chronic lower back pain and is the result of the largest yoga trial in Europe researching lower back pain. The book describes the trial and the results and explains who the course is safe and suitable for. The trial showed that those who attended the specialized course and practiced at home improved more than those receiving normal care. The book has a companion CD as part of the course, that is taught by especially trained teachers. Very useful!! Check out the YHLB website.
