5.0 out of 5 stars A Gem of an Album!, 11 July 2013

Came across this by pure chance and was blown away. Sounds like Pink Floyd with Bowie on vocals. Can't believe this hasn't made the mainstream. Definitely deserves to be heard. Treat your ears and pick up this peach of an album!

5.0 out of 5 stars Does exactly what it says!, 27 Mar 2013

Really well designed syringe that used in conjunction with Earex drops solved my ear wax problem after 6-8 squirts and a 10 minute wait while the Earex bubbled away in my ear.

Saved me 10 days of having oil in my ear and two trips to the doctors.

Brilliant!

5.0 out of 5 stars At last a light that works!, 16 Jan 2013

Having spent more than the cost of a new Glow or Paperwhite on lights for my ageing Kobo I finally tried this one having read some favourable reviews.

I was not disappointed.

Although fairly heavy it casts a bright and even light over the whole page. The rechargeable battery lasts a long time and precludes further expenditure on batteries. Easily the best of all the lights I've tried. With the brightness being adjustable by a dimmer wheel it should also cater for all preferences.

5.0 out of 5 stars Intense and gripping account of combat on the Eastern Front., 16 Jan 2013

This review is from: Blood Red Snow (Paperback)
One of the best firsthand accounts of war on the Eastern Front that I've read.

It was hard to put this book down. The tension of being under fire while a Russian sniper ripped explosive rounds through the authors comrades and friends standing next to him was palpable. An intense, harrowing and moving account of what it was like to serve in the East. A myopic view as opposed to the somewhat dry historical tomes of combat in Russia.

Comparable to Guy Sajers - The Forgotten Soldier.

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb!, 15 Jan 2013

A book filled with rare first hand German accounts of the battle along with excellent photographs.

Gives a glimpse of what it was like to be there on the ground with a different perspective compared to the endless unit numbers, movements and outcomes type of military history.

Would also recommend:

Eastern Inferno: The Journals of a German Panzerjager on the Eastern Front
Twilight of the Gods: A Swedish Waffen-SS Volunteer's Experiences
and above all - Hitler's war on Russia by Paul Carell - (if you can find one!)

1.0 out of 5 stars Useless.., 24 Mar 2012

Lasts about 35 minutes on a full charge. Worse than the battery I was replacing. PSP shuts down with no battery symbol when 2 out of the 3 battery bars are still lit-up.
