Enemies at Home: Falco: The New Generation (Flavia Albia)
Enemies at Home: Falco: The New Generation (Flavia Albia)
by Lindsey Davis
Edition: Hardcover

5.0 out of 5 stars Worthy successor to her Dad, 20 May 2014

Fans of the Falco series might take some time to adjust to what will hopefully be a new series with his adopted daughter as heroine investigator, but this second one sees her firmly established with the same attention to detail and full background evoking the times. Lindsey Davis has already found her stride with this second book and is shaping up to be as addictive as the Falco series. Superior Roman historical fiction - highly recommended. We learn more of Albia's background and character - and now have to wait a year for the next one....

This is an ecellent little book on improving eyesight naturally - succinct with easy exercises to do and detailed explanations. I haven't completed 30 days of exercises yet to comment, but I would recommend it. Clear and easy to understand./

I wanted this CD for a particular track - the Peter Gabriel one - but like most of the others too. It was very good value, and arrived in good time and good condition.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love these, 10 Aug 2011
I bought C B-Rs book The Map on impulse and have found it to be really useful and a great workbook. I bought the cards on the strength of the book and love them. Which cards appeal to you is a highly personal choice, but I love these and find them to be very individual. Try her book first to see if they're for you....

These are not worth the admittedly low price - they're like a pair of rubber gloves cut off, are extremely uncomfortable and did little but cut the circulation off in my feet. Better get the bunion buster (like splints).

4.0 out of 5 stars Mystic Dream tarot, 14 April 2009
I saw this pack online and was attracted by the images. They are slightly different and each card has the Moon in it with some interesting ideas about them. The accompanying book is very good - I'm always on the lookout for new interpretations and this has them, concisely put.

Recommended for all interested in Tarot.

The Seven Levels of Healing
The Seven Levels of Healing

4.0 out of 5 stars Lilla Bek, 12 Mar 2009
I am interested in all aspects of healing, and Lilla Bek was in the vanguard, writing many years before complementary medicine had become so mainstream. Her work on colour and chakras is seminal, and in my view well worth reading and keeping in your book collection as a reference.

There is a lot written these days on healing, some repetitive and commercialised, but Lilla Bek is original and to the point.

Rough Guide to The Blues
Rough Guide to The Blues

5.0 out of 5 stars Rough Guide to the Blues, 12 Mar 2009
I wanted a 'sample' style CD as I would like to acquire some blues music, and this was an ideal way to do it. There's a really good selection of artists and music so you can see who appeals to you. Some were known to me and others not, but it's given me an idea of which ones I'd like to hear more of. The Rough Guide has done exactly what I wanted, and does what it says on the tin.

Pete Johnson is a cracker!
