5.0 out of 5 stars Simply Awesome, 12 May 2002
This review is from: Lechuza (Audio CD)
Well the original album is a triumph of maturity. Why they felt the need to add "all my fault" as an additional album track, i don't know. it doesn't sit that well with their new sound.
Still, the opening three tracks are pure genius. "Phoebe Cates" is a nice tongue in cheek fast paced song (heard in American Pie2), "Katie W" is more of the same, and "Threesome" has to be the best song on the album. Mind you all the other tracks are of a similar high quality that is lacking in other bands.

5.0 out of 5 stars Extremely Catchy, 19 Feb 2002
This review is from: Loss (Audio CD)
This album is truly one of the delights of the year. I first heard of MHS via their single "watching xanadu" being played all the time on the cable music channel, the box.
The melodies and harmonies on this album are great! Every song is catchy in its own way. It sounds similar to the sound of Bachelor Number One/Scot Sax (of American Pie & 100 Girls Fame), except more grand and easy to listen to. Recommended highly.
