4.0 out of 5 stars A little better than a screen protector+rear case, 13 July 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Pros: Decent protection and durability; doesn't add much to thickness or weight. The front window is a nice clear hardened plastic.
Cons: There's no clasp/magnet or any mechanism to hold the front cover closed... If you fling your device a short distance onto your bed it's likely to flop open.

great contact, call log & SMS backup solution. The additional features (user-defined words, ie "dictionary," calendar, alarms, etc) don't work consistently on all phones. On the very rare occasion, the timestamps for some calls & SMSs are wrong.

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent flexible tripod, 13 July 2015

durable, secure. The head is mounted on a ball-and-socket and can be rotated a fair bit. The screw to tighten this is accessible enough. Can hold a decent weight. The legs have the right balance between flexible and firm.

4.0 out of 5 stars Highly Recommended, 11 July 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Mine came with a silicone rubber case and UK adapter for the charger (via Digimax).
Pros:
- Great specs for the price
- Surprisingly, in practice the Mediatek processor outranks some snapdragon ones. A ZTE Blade S6, for example, is about 1.5x slower on multithread apps. With an updated ROM (advanced users) AnTuTu rates it about the same as a OnePlus One.
- Extremely lightweight and decent (about 24hrs) battery life.
- Front camerra (5MP) and rear (13MP) can both record at 1080p.
- MaxxAudio (and/or Dolby) software sound drivers make the speaker sound approx the same as a laptop with good drivers.
- Can choose which SIM to use for data, and can also pick for individual calls and SMSs.
Cons:
- The English is a little garbled everywhere (including the settings menu) but understandable. The packaging and manuals (including the digital one on the phone) are all in Mandarin.
- The two SIM and microSD slots can only be accessed after removing the battery - so not hot-swappable.
- Comes with a 2 amp charger (and still takes at least 3 hours to charge)! Basically it's like a tablet (which I suppose is expected since it performs like a tablet). Will not really charge from a 'normal' computer USB port (which only typically provides only 0.5 amp. On my laptop, the phone gains something like 1% battery per hour). On the plus side, the long charging time means that you're not likely to overcharge overnight.
- Camera pics are fuzzy with rice-shaped shot noise in low light. After some post-processing anhancement I'd say effective resolution is about 8MP or less.
- Only one SIM slot supports 2/3/3.5/4G. The other one is just 2G.
- Supports LTE/4G bands 1, 3, 7, 38-41. Check with your operator for compatibility.
Conclusion:
If you want a dual-sim device this is probably the best value for money on the market.

Adventure RPG at its best. Witty narrative and a great revival of the classic.

One of the older generation Kindles - a bit unresponsive and limited in features, but the screen genuinely looks like it's a paperback book.

Flat end doesn't make sufficient contact with screen surface unless held at precisely the right angle. Unnatural and far more difficult than a finger.

The widget layout and info is limited, and the app (once opened) actually displays less info! From the layout inconsistencies it looks like it's a problem with non-kindle tablets. Still, there's no reason why such a basic app can't be made to work on non-kindle devices. :/

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent, 29 May 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
As a regular user of many different brands of memory, I can say that this product has so far lived up to Transcend's usual high quality. I generally prefer manufactures who make their own memory rather than rebrand generic stuff (I'm looking at you, Samsung) but there probably isn't much difference. Doesn't seem to support ext4 partitions too well, but it's fine with fat32/vfat, ext2/3 and multi-partitions.

Protips:
1) There's no difference in speeds past class 6 if your device isn't pretty new and supports faster speeds
2) Always format cards with a PC, then error check
3) Don't blame manufacturers if you cannot follow basic memorycare prcedures

4.0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly decent, 29 May 2014

Packaging: flimsy polyethene wrapper - but what more could you expect from a cheap item shipped halfway accross the globe?
Item: At first, it looks like a small glorified rubber band; but it definitely is more durable and supple yet firm. Good for torches/mobile phones and similar sized objects.
