3.0 out of 5 stars Good game but quite a lot of flaws, 27 May 2014
This review is from: FIFA 14 (Xbox One) (Video Game)
This review by me is going to be on the game play and the additions within career mode as it is enjoyable and frustrating with a fair few flaws to go with it.

- The replays look a lot better now you get different angles and you can see the grass being kicked up off the pitch.
- If you play at Old Trafford, Emirates etc you can see the whole stadium along with the car parks etc.
- Quite cool now you can change the formations of your team by moving the right analogue stick on the team management screen (on the pause menu).
- Jeff Sterling now talks when the players are coming out.

- Majority of the time the computer teams get free kicks or penalties even if you win the ball.
- The commentary is the same bs and talk about players starting in the match even if they are suspended or injured.
- How the commentators mention a player has gone and that they need to bring in somebody quickly even though it isn't the transfer window.
- Through balls and shots are over powered.
- Too easy to score from corners for the user and computer.
- Players not reacting to the command you do on the controller.
- Happened only a few times but players (for user and computer) turn their back to the opposing player who is running through on goal to just then turn around (my keeper scored from his goal by booting the ball up the field that he back got from my defender).
- When the commentators mention players being on the transfer list but not in that position (they mentioned Schuller who was on the transfer list and is a midfielder but said he is a goalkeeper).
- When commentators mention about a key goal scorer is out injured or suspended even though they aren't an attacker.

I know they work extremely hard to create a game but surely the obvious mistakes they made would of been corrected by now as it is not only Fifa 14 but previous Fifas have had the same issues (all or some of them).

That is why my rating is 3 star.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic but couple of flaws, 22 Mar. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I love AC games since AC1 with hours of fun, stealth and entertainment. Here is my sum up of Black Flag:

We will start of with the positives:

- Graphics: The graphics for all the AC games have been amazing especially this one as you can clearly see the rain coming down off the faces of Kenway, Blackbeard etc when it rains and when you are on the ship how you can see the lightning and the high waves from the storm looks life like.

- Weapons: The range of weapons you have is brilliant especially the beserk darts where you hide hit an enemy with one and see them go mad and attacking anyone in sight is always good fun especially if you have to kill a captain (or somebody high ranking).

- Open maps: The fact that you can sail across a huge sea with loads of different castles, hidden locations and loads of ships to attack and board is a great idea. The main areas such as Kingston has got two areas to it and is separated by the sea which makes it worth while staying around.

- Upgrading the Jackdaw: The fact you can upgrade the Jackdaw's appearance, storage, weapons, armor and harpooning is a great addition. You can make the Jackdaw look completely different to what it was at the start which is a good way to stamp your own look on it.

- Assassinations: They are always fun to do especially if it is a double assassination.

- Upgrade Kenway: It's good you can make Kenway wear a variety of different outfits and choose from lots of weapons for him to use.

- Recruiting sailors: I like how you can recruit for sailors to be apart of your crew for the Jackdaw.

Now the bad points.

- The running system: This has been the main issue I have had since AC1 was around, it would be better if they had a stamina system within the game as anybody in AC can run for ages without getting tired (unrealistic). The other issue with the running is you should be able to hold the RT button to run but you would have to hold RT+A to climb up as at the moment even if you hold RT and escaping from the enemy you will randomly climb up a wall or tree that you don't want to do (so frustrating).

- Climbing: Anybody would of thought they would of gotten this sorted out but they haven't made it pretty much perfect as too many times you will not be able to grab onto an obvious ledge that most of the time you can use but in fact he will jump like it's a flat wall with no ledge to grab onto (that is so stupid).

- Game freezes: I have had to restart the game because it will freeze when you try and complete a mission and then work when you redo it straight away.

If they fixed those issues it would of been 5/5 from me, hope they sort those issues out soon.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good but few bugs/issues, 17 Nov. 2013
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
I loved playing Battlefield 3 and was hoping Battlefield 4 was just as good, the campaign still good improve (I think) but the online is nearly as fun but bugs/issues let it down for me.

The problems I have got online on BF4 are

- Maps will freeze the console at random times.
- Primary weapon doesn't always appear when you spawn (have to change weapons for it to go back to normal).
- Server filters are poor (I have it selected between 1-15 free slots and they still show me servers that are full along with servers that aren't).
- Guns occasionally will cut out from shooting (like it has jammed or ran out of ammo) even if you have spawned and not even used it yet) so you then die.
- It is harder to see your own team unless you aim at them (easier to detect your own team etc on BF3).

There are a few positives though now

- More unlocks per class and weapon.
- Body doesn't go through walls etc.

4.0 out of 5 stars A lot better than 13 but should of been better than it is, 30 Sept. 2013

I love the Fifa game franchise and Fifa 14 is probably the best Fifa game for a while. The AI doesn't seem to cheat like it did in 13, the AI for the user and computer teams seem to be smarter (which is a god send as it now feels like a football game), I like the way the players move in terms of us trying to feel how the player moves on the pitch rather than being computerised (quick players don't control the ball amazing like they used to so they don't always run onto goal), no more freezing in the pause menu yay and best of all there are new bits to the commentary and you get Geff Sterling :).

The downsides to this game though are trying to loan players out is so much harder as teams don't seem to want players on loan now so your stuck with more players, you can bring youth players into the main team but they won't get a lot better from League 2 to the Premier League even if they have had an amazing season (my goalkeeper McSheffrey youth player 1 and a half years been the only keeper and in that time I got promoted from League 2 to League 1 and in League 1 he has got 5 clean sheets already and 2nd in the table and yet he has gone up by 1-3 times), and the transfer market what have they done you can't see how good a player is even when you get your scout to fully scout them.

Overall it is a lot better than the last few Fifa's but transfers and youth players are a problem.

5.0 out of 5 stars 1 of the best games ever, 18 July 2013
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
I don't understand why some people have put this game 1,2 or 3 star, I mean Battlefield 3 is a game where you can spend at least 2-3 hours on one map which is brilliant and in the process you can rank up quickly. Here are the Pros and Cons of the game.

- The graphics are really good from the guns to watch buildings collapse.
- The way of ranking up your soldier is really good.
- The game modes are fantastic, intense and really good fun.
- Interchanging on small to massive maps are fun but can be long.
- The variety of vehicles and different weapons to choose from is brilliant.

- EA servers not being the most reliable.

I also want to make one thing perfectly clear, can all you COD players who have now started to play battlefield please play it properly as too many of you are playing like its COD, which is ruining the enjoyment. Thanks.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very fun to play, 4 Mar. 2013

This review is based on the campaign only, and Halo Reach doesn't disapoint. There are some pros and there are some cons in the game.

- Very good graphics
- Storyline is good
- Lighting of the game is good
- Customising your spartan by using the points you get from playing campaign is cool
- The variety of different vechiles is useful

- The AI is sometimes really stupid
- Can't get dualed weapons now
- Sometimes when you are at a checkpoint, the game will load from there even if you revert to last saved game and if you turn off the console it sometimes goes back to the begining which sucks

Overall the game is really fun and in legenadary your skills are tested as you have to think how to kill the elites etc rather than go in guns blazing like you might do in easy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really fun not changed abit, 4 Feb. 2013

I am a big fan of the Hitman games, and when I heard that they were going to re-release Hitman 2, Blood Money and Contracts in the HD Collection I was excited as I haven't played them for years. The 3 games feel exactly the same as they used to be when they originally came out, as you can either be stealthy or go guns blazing and you won't lose points (unlike Absolution) and the disguises are exactly as I remembered. The only negativity I would say is when they said they were HD I assumed the graphics would be amazing, they have improved them a little bit than what they used to be, but not enough but it's still a fantastic game.

Anywho it is probably the most enjoyable game that has been released this year, and I hope on the next Hitman game they get rid of the point system and get the disguises sorted out to what it used to be as that for me destroys the enjoyment of playing Hitman Absolution.

You should buy this game as for £20 it's a bargain.

This review is from: FIFA 13 (Xbox 360) (Video Game)
I have played Fifa since Fifa 2001 on the playstation, and Fifa 13 you will love it and hate it. The career mode they have fixed which is brilliant, the transfers are better, player development is more realistic, the fact you can now manage a national team is awesome. The graphics have improved, and I love the new skill game that you can do whilst waiting for a match to start or by going on the main menu. Unfortunatley the AI is still favourable to the computer team and is not 50/50, as I find the worst teams seem to pass alot better than the better teams, and I find that the AI doesn't score amazing goals against me as they tend to be really sloppy goals (mainly cause the AI can be poor for my team, but I can hold my hands up and say that I do make mistakes on the game).

Bottom line is that I just wish that EA would sort the AI out and make it fairer as so many people complain about the AI in reviews, and make the teams more realistic in terms of ability.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great fun but a few issues, 5 Nov. 2012
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
This game is pure brillance and the graphics are pretty good to. I love how you can run up trees as Connor and can hunt animals and call fellow assassins (which I loved in Brotherhood), but there are two issues upto now. Firstly when you are Haythem Conway why are there a few occassions when he is chatting, he has his eyes closed. The final issue I got is that at times the guards seem to have eyes in the back of their heads (mind you there are times when they seem really dumb). A perfectly brilliant game ruined a little bit by a lack of concentration.

I would urge people to buy the game but if your never played an AC game best if you see the first game.
