5.0 out of 5 stars Unforgettable, 18 July 2012
Having never been overly concerned with memory improvement I recently found a job for which I have to remember hundreds of names, a hugely daunting prospect.

As part of my training all employees attended a memory improvement seminar, one of the techniques outlined in this book. The lecture was incredibly boring, but despite 'switching off' for a good portion I was surprised with how much I was able to remember. After a good deal of research I was directed to this book and I couldn't be happier. The Memory Palace is thorough, succinct and digestible, it works both as a 'cover-to-cover' read and a book to 'dip' into. Smile's writing style is entertaining and engaging, he illuminates a dry subject to produce an entertaining and captivating read.

Highly recommended for those interested in memory improvement techniques.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Album, 29 Dec 2008
For more details read other reviews. At first I found this album a little difficult to get into, so if you feel likewise after first listen persist with it and eventually the music will reveal itself.

Kim Cooper's book (In an aeroplane over the sea) (Part of the 33 1/3 series). Comes highly reccommended as an accompanent, providing an overview of how the album was created and the mystery surrounding the band.
