5.0 out of 5 stars A gem of a book, 7 Dec 2011
This review is from: Unfortunately (Paperback)
My four and six year old got this out of the local library and liked it so much that I bought it for them.
They love to see the situations change from good to bad and back again and often at the end of the book they keep going with their own ideas about what might happen next

Moto GP kids backpack red
Moto GP kids backpack red

2.0 out of 5 stars wish I could rate it higher, 3 Oct 2011
This review is from: Moto GP kids backpack red (Misc.)
I bought this for my nearly six year old son because it was MotoGP kids and he watches the motoGP with me. He was very excited to get it and very please with it but we were disappointed to find that the zip broke after just a few weeks of light use. We returned the bag and another one was sent out promptly which was great service etc but unfortunately a few months down the line, again with fairly light use the zip has broken again.
It's a shame as it's a really nice bag and my son loved it but a bag that keeps neeeding to be replaced is not worthwhile.

What can I say that the others 3 reviews haven't already said. I have this on a tape from when it was first released and have been waiting for a cd release. And this is such a bonus having the dvd too. I never thought I'd get to see that again

5.0 out of 5 stars Simple, effective...and purple, 21 July 2010
Bought this for my new phone as I have a habit of dropping phones (I'm a bit klutzy). Got it because it's purple but it's great. Simple, protects it well and cheap with quick (and free) delivery

5.0 out of 5 stars It stays with you, 22 April 2008
This review is from: Elephant [DVD] [2004] (DVD)
I saw this movie in an Arts Cinema in Chelsea a few years ago and still think about it. I loved the fact that it doesn't rush but follows each person for a period of time using the moments and places, viewed from different perspectives to show the time frame of the movie.

I felt that one of it's strong points is the fact it doesn't over analyse the minds of the killers. We've all seen computer games where the view on screen is a castle/cave/dungeon or whatever and the weapon is at the bottom of the screen while the 'hero' goes around killing everything in sight...well, maybe that was all the influence & reason they needed. Who knows. Maybe they didn't like Mondays either.

If you're after reasons, analysis, blood, gore & guts, dramatics and special effects avoid this one but if you're after an incredible and thought provoking movie I can't recommend it high enough
