Perfect start to a great series, 9 July 2011
I was sceptic about starting to read Vampir Knight when I heard of it. I had friends who said it was bad, and with me being a member of people against the Twilight craze, I was avoiding stories about vampires in general. However, a friend told me to try it and then if I still don't like it then fine. But I love it.
The story is well written with an interesting plotline, and you can see the care Matsuri Hino has taken with creating each individual pannel. Also, with bonus content at the end, notes from the author and extra side stories, it's still worth reading if you've previously watched the anime series. I have continued to read the series, and it just gets better as the plot unfolds.
If you are an anti-Twilightist like myself, please just give it a go. You won't regret it. Put it this way, would you rather read this or watch the latest fake, sparkling, disgrace to all vampires Twilight film? Come on...
