4.0 out of 5 stars Very handy, 6 Sep 2011
This review is from: CentOS Bible (Paperback)
Comprehensive introduction to the CentOS operating system (is that tautology?).
A very handy reference and having the CDs included with the latest version was a welcome bonus.

2.0 out of 5 stars Pound Shop Quality, 6 Aug 2011
Poor quality of product. Suction cups are very poor, difficult to adjust the width and height and when you do light pours in through the folds. The suction cups are too close to the edge of the fabric so even where it is fitted a little light comes in around the edge still.
The only plus is that the material does not let light through, but this is negated by the light coming in around the edges.

2.0 out of 5 stars Adequate but inelegant; And not for the long-term,, 4 Aug 2011
5 months and it's falling apart already.
Looked clumsy, and now it looks tatty too.
Has adequately protected the screen and shielded the device from a couple of drops. Shame about the looks really.

2.0 out of 5 stars Poor, poor, poor. Get a real computer instead., 14 May 2011
Randomly freezes and needs rebooting. Wi-fi keeps disconnecting for no apparent reason.
Windows 7 'Starter' edition is a poor excuse for an operating system. The included version of Microsoft Office works fine, has adverts (but it is free so can't complain).

The machine itself is light and highly portable, the screen is very clear and has good definition.

I would recommend spending a bit more and getting a proper computer.

Gates Of Fire: An Epic Novel of the Battle of Thermopylae

Despite knowing what's going to happen in the end, you'll find that you're unable to put this book down.
The background of the book is well-researched, and despite a little artistic licence taken for story-telling purposes, you feel that the author has recreated a corner of ancient Greece and slapped you down in the middle of it, keeping you hooked until the inevitable finalé.
I would recommed this book.
