Some beautiful, haunting and powerful images in this film which will delight fans of films such as Koyaaniaquatsi. The cinematography, as you would expect, is superb as is the soundtrack and people/places filmed. A unique viewing experience.

A superbly filmed documentary which looks stunning in 3D. There are some real jump out of the screen moments and at many points it appears that fish are swimming around your living room!
Great quality picture and realistic, impressive 3D effects.

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent read!, 22 Dec. 2011

This is a great biography on the 'maverick genius' that was Walter Freeman. Written objectively, the reader is left to make their own mind up as to whether the seemingly brutal operation that Dr Freeman was an exponent of was effective in any way.
An intriguing character who believed he was doing his best for the medical world. Genius or madman? You decide...

A good introduction into various methods of spirit communication. None of the areas covered are explored in great detail but a nice read as an overview of the subject or for the novice looking to find the method that best suits them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb 70's comedy, 22 Dec. 2011

I recall watching this show way back in the 1970's and enjoying it immensely and was one of those shows that was never repeated. I hoped it was as funny as memory recalled and it's just as much fun as it was then.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good seventies horror, 2 Oct. 2011
This review is from: Frightmare [DVD] [1974] (DVD)
This slightly bonkers film is a classic of early seventies horror. Not many films feature a murderous, cannabalistic granny weilding a power drill! Much of it is typical seventies acting, which I like and the ending is one that not many would expect.

5.0 out of 5 stars Unique and brilliant, 2 Oct. 2011

This review is from: Klaus Nomi (Audio CD)
An amazing album by a brilliant and unique artist, one you will never see the like of today. Whether he is performing opera such as Purcell's "The Cold Song" or insanely catchy 80's pop such as "Total Eclipse", Klaus' voice is a joy to listen to.
Sadly he only made two albums but both are wonderful additions to any person with a modicum of taste's collection.
