2.0 out of 5 stars Nice while they lasted, 26 Mar. 2008
These books were very popular with my one year old who loves all things night garden. So much so that after a few months of reading they have literally fallen apart. Also each book is very short and I think you get more value from some of the other pocket library collections. Nice stories for littles ones but not sure about their value to language development; 'Runny grobbles.....?'

5.0 out of 5 stars Our current favourite!, 19 Mar. 2008
Absolutely superb for learning colours and animals and they know it off by heart by about the 3rd or 4th read through. Didn't start with this one till my daugther was about 18 months (being a paperback and all that) but she took to it straight away and now we have to have 'Bown Beh' every night.

5.0 out of 5 stars Destined to be an old favourite, 19 Mar. 2008
As lift-the-flap books go this has to be one of the best out there for younger children. My daughter has had this from about 8 months and none of the flaps are ripped or loose. She loved Maisy and the other characters from the word go. Simple but effective book that provides much enjoyment.

That's Not My Monster (Usborne Touchy Feely Books)
That's Not My Monster (Usborne Touchy Feely Books)
by Fiona Watt
Edition: Board book

5.0 out of 5 stars Best of the series, 19 Mar. 2008
This is an excellent series of books and in my opinion one of the best titles. My daughter loved these from about 6-18 months and now at nearly 2 she knows them well enough to imitate the words. Another favourite game when she was smaller was 'find the mouse' on each page. Like others have stated these are extremely hard-wearing books and even after much usage they still look good as new.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent for Early Learning, 19 Mar. 2008
Lovely book, captures their interest young with the pictures, characters and feely bits. Helped my daugther to recognise her numbers at 19 months.
