OTG itself works with no complaints. However it appears that there are additional costs associated with mounting USB on likes of Nexus, namely a software, which although not pricey (few Euros) is also not reliable. In other words, more hassle that it seems

3.0 out of 5 stars Funny but a bit too light, 12 Aug 2014

The biggest positive about the book is the author's sense of humour. His inoffensive yet sharp observations of natives and British expats made me laugh to tears. Clearly, he travelled extensively through Loire and sketched a very recognizable portrayals of places, e.g. Blois, Tours, Saumur that I found easy to relate. The extensive coverage of Loire valley did come at a price of depth- some of the travel and research for this book was superficial or factually incorrect. For instance, when in Tours the author didn't get to Quarter de Vieux , a real highlight of the historic town. Also, the author mistakenly referred to Paris as place of execution of Joan de Arc, whereas the heroine was famously held, tried and put to death in Rouen.

This review is from: FIFA 14 (PS3) (Video Game)
I used to prefer the FIFA over the PES due to superior graphics, proper club names, top notch commentary and more realistic player movements . I have to say only the first two are true for this edition. Commentary is very repetative and occasionally simply odd. The game misses some critical updates, i.e. Los Blancos didin't seem to have landed Bale in spite of the staggering fee !

As The Beatles fun grown up in the USSR, I was really looking forward to read this. Somewhat disappointed though, the book effectively repeats the same tune throughout: the Beatles were a breath of fresh air, people loved freedom and it helped to bring own the Communist Party rule. There about 10-15 accounts of very similar demographics- children of Soviet apparatchiks, perhaps easier to get in touch for the author. Hihgly ly repetative- a bit like the finale of Hey Jude (but not quite as much fun !) . Speaking of apparatchiks, turns out many in Putin's administration love the Beatles (unfortunately that didn't seem to bring any more freedom to Russia).

Love the Beatles, didn't like the book !

have been using for the past 4 weeks and no complaints. Good range of lengths, charge holds for long enough (don't remember the last time I had to plug it in) and a nice ergonomic look and feel.

Everyone in our family, kids to adults, enjoyed the sing along with this disk. Includes all the iconic hits and the original videos. Came from the US, not sure why, but the zoning is correct and the custom charges were paid by the seller.

5.0 out of 5 stars Priceless reading for my trip to Rome, 2 Dec 2012

This review is from: When in Rome (Kindle Edition)
I bought this when in Rome on holiday as I was keen to read something about the city that's more than the glossy touristy volumes sold in souvernir shops. The book covers the forgotten, i.e. no longer existing landmarks of the eternal city from ancient times to modern. It really helped to magnify the experience of being in Rome. Not just because of its tails of Nero's forum, Temple Jupiter Maximus, etc but also of the fine detail about the city and many of its existing landmarks. It's not a short book, so there is plenty for another trip !

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth buying for the 'European vacation' alone, 2 Dec 2012

I bought this for 8.99 and although I only enjoyed the one movie on it it was still worth it. The European vacation most certainly stood the test of time. A funny non-discriminatory sattire at Americans and Europeans only got better with time. Not so positive about the other movies, perhaps a lot is in understanding the cultrual context and therefore folk across the pond might find it funny stil...

5.0 out of 5 stars More than 120 years on still reads well, 21 Sep 2012

The kindle version is a top value for money- under 2 quid for the full set of novels. Still exciting and classy Sherlock Holmes is a captivating read... Also quite an entertaining one, as Holmes regularly 'ejaculates' in particularly emotinal moments...

This pretty much sums up the book, although the title might leads you to believe that there is more to it than one case of a duboius defection. The case by the author is made well ( assuming it provides a balanced amount of evidence), but I expect more from the book in terms of historical overview of the cold war espionage... Unless you really want to know about the author's quest to bring the matters to justice, you will not find the book to be overly exciting...
