5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent trip back through the years, 6 Sep 2011
This review is from: Music: What Happened? (Paperback)
Game Theory and The Loud Family have long been favourite bands and Scott Miller, the main man, in addition to being a great musician and lyric writer, is an erudite and literary music fan. This book collects his yearly reviews of the tracks that stood out for him - so it's very subjective - you may find yourself not agreeing in every case or wondering why something has been overlooked. The reviews are concise - and will have you rummaging amongst the CDs and vinyl to play the tracks (and MP3s, although I'm not sure how you rummage them...).

4.0 out of 5 stars Work fine in a PX700W, 6 Sep 2011
Just ordered another couple of boxes! At around a tenth of the price of Epson's OEM cartridges this had to be worth investigating. Have had problems before with (so called) compatible cartridges not be recognised by the printer and therefore not working but these worked fine. They don't seem to last very long though, so docked one star.

3.0 out of 5 stars Don't watch the special features on disc3!, 23 July 2011
I love the Shield but I really wish I hadn't just watched the special features on disc 3 which are real plot spoilers. I haven't got to the disc with the "cut" episode that others are reporting (really looking forward to that - not) but so far the series has been the usual riveting stuff.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not their best..., 4 Feb 2010
I've been a huge fan of the band since being recommended Mutter a couple of years ago and have since picked up most of their albums and DVDs. In common with other reviewers I'd agree that Mutter is their meisterwerk and Rosenrot is probably the low point (but still much higher than most metal out there). Liebe doesn't add much to the catalogue and it feels like I've heard it all before really. Other reviewers are hinting that this might be their lot, I hope that's not true and they have one last great album in them at least. Disappointing - but still listenable.
