5.0 out of 5 stars USB 3.0 new user, 21 Aug. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Received this device yesterday (20/08/2012). Installation straight forward. The unit has two USB sockets and a separate USB cable for power if required for the device connected. I was able to make a full system backup onto a USB 3.0 external drive in what seemed a very short time compared to previous USB 2.0 use. The unit does protrude as shown in the published information. In all, a good bye. The delivery was quicker than expected. No gripes.

Received this book last month (January 2012) and found it almost too full of useful information. A bit worried when I saw the size and felt the weight but also found it useful for information that I had not found in other sources.

5.0 out of 5 stars As good as it gets, 22 Mar. 2011
Bought this kit (Devolo dlan 200 av wireless n starter kit) to resolve wireless connection problems upstairs in my house. The Router - Dlink wireless n - is in one corner downstairs connected to Virgin cable and I mainly use my laptop upstairs at the most distant corner. Sometimes the signal was OK but quite often, the signal was dropped. This seems to have sorted out the problem. Setup was easy even for a non technical user. Just follow the steps on the diagram enclosed with the kit and the connection is automatic. The only thing you need to do is to have the security key which is on the back of the larger unit available when first connecting the computer. I typed it into notepad and when making the connection, just copied it using Ctrl C andd pasted it into the dialogue box. Job done. Just minutes.
