5.0 out of 5 stars AMAZING!, 24 Aug. 2006
I've just seen Liam Live at the V festival and he was out of this world, the whole band are superb. A mixture of soft folk melodies and acoustic rock with a big slice of bohemia. I bought the fist two singles and fell in love with this sound. They played most of the album live and it sounds fantastic. If your a fan of Stephen Fretwell or the Guillemots you'll love Liam Frost and the Slowdown Family!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars The album that changed the world, 16 Dec. 2003
This review is from: The Stone Roses (Audio CD)
The Stone Roses grew out of the cold hard working class streets of Manchester, in a time when the only good music around had been made 10 years previous and electronica was turning the world an foul dayglow pink. This album saved music, like an oasis in a barron landscape the roses were a shot in the arm for anyone with taste in the 80's. Along with the Mondays and Joy Division the stone roses brought Manchester to life and changed music forever.
Every track on this album would be the stand out track on any other indie/rock since. If you like any brit pop from oasis to Coldplay you have this album to thank for there existance!

This album is truely amazing, when ever i listen to this album i get lost in her voice. Memories i've never had come flooding back and memories i've had feel real again! Beth Orton has the most unique and amazing voice, if you only ever buy one album buy this one.
